"Well if nothing crazy happens I wouldn't mind looking after him for a week or two. Gives me more time in that apartment, plus I've got a feeling he'd like to prolong his probation."

Zamy pulled out her radio. "I found a nice place Ziona. It should do just fine for the next... however long they take to get a meeting together."

Zamy activated her teleporter and took Miles to Haven. "She's probably still downstairs."

"Sometimes I don't even know. I'll lock the door then we can head off," replied Zamy as she locked up.

"I'd have to reach all the way down to my belt to hit that teleport button, so I dunno," joked Zamy.

"Just groceries by the looks of it. But I can handle that later. Do yoy want to go back and see Anna?"

"Yes. It might take a day or 2 to get here, but it's easier." Zamy went over to a computer in the apartment and turned it on. "I think I understand why this place costs so much now," she joked.

After heading up to lock the door, Zamy had an idea. "You know we could just do it online and get it delivered. It'll save a bit of hassle. Up to you."

"Well first we need to lock up, then probably get you some clothes."

Zamy talked with the receptionist and after signing a mountain of forms identifying her snd Miles as the occupants, and being told the details of and agreeing to the monthly payments, was given the key. "Ok Miles, I've got the key. Let's head up."

"No matter. I've got some clothes at a hotel to grab but that's it," said Zamy, reaching the bottom floor and heading to the receptionist.

"Hehe. I understand. Just a few minutes and we can get, er, unpacking... or rather buying everything," said Zamy as she hit the button for the ground floor.

"Glad you like it. Let's head downstairs and seal the deal."

"Thank you. Though I wouldn't call it a horrible job. And here we are." Zamy got out of the elevator and entered the empty apartment. "TV, big fridge freezer. Huge bedrooms. I'm liking this."

"Well I have my badge if it helps, and I know. I could get used to this," she replied as she stepped into the elevator and hit the button for the top floor

Zamy activated her teleporter and they appeared outside the front door of the building. "It's an open visit but hopefully it won't be busy. This place sure looks fancy, I feel like I should be dressed up," she said as she headed inside.

"I'm sure they are. But we can have a look in person."

"Here's a nice one. 2 bedroom penthouse apartment, 5 minutes from the park. Looks great, plenty of amenities."

"I'm sure we can," said Zamy as she searched on a PDA.

"I think we can search online for one. It should be easier than trekking round the town."

Zamy laughed. "No we don't. We need to find a place to rent. Somewhere nice, given the money you have. Buying would be a bit too costly, but that's fine."

"Well, let's say we get started on our apartment hunt Miles?"

"Thanks Melody," called Zamy as she headed out.

Zamy gave Melody her chip. "Sorry for the interruption."

"Yeah. If you hold out your arm I'll put it in."
