"I'm not blaming you... what's this 'but'?"

"You were under his orders which you couldn't disobey. Same reason you attacked my colleagues earlier."

"Probably because they realised your father was... well, a horrible waste of a person, so didn't have much sympathy towards either of you."

"Well then I'd have to. It's fine, I should get used to jokes like that. Better than sitting around complaining about it."

"I don't think I could handle doing that."

Ok, that... thing is just all wrong. It has a bobblehead for starters. Please tell me this is a joke?

Zamy laughed. "Yeah that'd be a nightmare."

Zamy smiled back. "I know. But they managed to not break any laws. You might have their rashness, but I doubt it'll extend to stuff that'll get you in the pokey."

"That's right. Don't do anything rash or stupid and you'll be just fine."

Zamy looked at the paperwork. "Yeah, it's all done."

I know. But perhaps the situation changes in the time between now and the take over that I am betrayed.

"Exactly. Unsurprisingly I liked that part."

"In a manner. Me and my partner threatened to press a stupid number of charges against their leader. He quickly caved after we exagerrated what Zone Jail was like."

"That particularly Zone had a rather uncooperative administration. The people pur guy met took him in quickly, but the government kept holding out on citizenship tests, work visas and even housing. Eventually we had to adopt a less subtle approach."

I can't think of anyone inclined to do that.

"Yeah it probably will be. The 6 months was for someone from a different Zone, he came from the past and couldn't get back. He seemed pretty happy about it to be fair. Most of the 6 months was trying to sort out formalities."

Longest I had was 6 months, they usually last a few."

I'm still the ultimate life form, though I am perplexed as to what could have changed me to become a tyrant.

"There probably have been. I just haven't dealt with any myself."

Defeated by a child? Talk about an embaressing end. Well at least now I know my rather terrible future, one that I must prevent. I don't wish to rule anyone.

"No it doesn't, it's the first time I've have to deal with a situation like this."

"Yep. It was a bit of a chore, to say the least."

Zamy nodded and handed over her pen.

"Heh, yeah. You're syre to get in with that."

"Yes that's right. And they're just for personal details, reasons for being in this Zone etc."
