"No, I think I've got it under control for the most part." ---- Shadow pushed off the lid of the tomb to see nothing inside. "Looks like a drop, no idea how far down." Without another word Shadow dropped into the hole, using his jets to slow the long descent.

"Tomorrow by all accounts. They need to be briefed on everything."

"I'm glad you like the sound of it. No, sorry I'm not sure where she is."

"When backup arrives, I'll take you to this place I read about last night. It's a buffet. Steak, pizza, chili dogs, ice cream, pancakes, whatever you want you can have unlimited amounts of it. I'll even take Anna with us if you want. I'll make this delay up to you, I promise."

"Ah there you are. Thanks Harmony. Miles, I'm really sorry but that surprise I promised will have to be postponed. I'm really sorry, but given the circumstances it won't work."

Zamy hugged Dylan somewhat awkwardly, partly because he was scaly and mostly because it was Dylan.

"Yes, I'm sure Dylan."

"What's done is done. You've apologised, it's fine, honestly."

"Look, you've apologised. You're not making things worse, so chin up."

"Unfortunately you have. Luckily I've got temporary backup coming in to help."

"Thank you Dylan. I appreciate your honesty."

Zamy jumped when she heard Dylan. "Yes, what is it?"

"Ok, thanks again. Wonder what they're talking about."

"If you could find Melody and Miles and bring them here, I'd appreciate it."

"Yeah, she should do."

"Agreed. And I don't think we have, but I'll look into it. Hope can probably make it work even faster as well if we do have it."

Zamy looked at the accident form as well. "Yeah, I'll have to make it up to Melody somehow. And I think you're right, Ziona's keen and still fairly adult, thankfully."

"You know for a moment I really did. Oh well I'll just have to manage. That reminds me, I need to tell Melody the party's postponed indefinitely, and Miles for that matter."

"No it's fine, I can handle it. You keep an eye on Skye."

Zamy looked at the forms with slight despair, but still kept smiling so as not to make matters worse. "Thanks Ziona, this is... really great. Though I might just copy your report out in print. It's not that I wouldn't take it in, but you know how dull and picky headquarters can be sometimes."

"Good to hear."

"Ok, thanks. Just as long as you can handle it."

"Ok, that sounds like it can work."

"Given your current condition I think I'm gonna need to call in some temporary backup. Just until you're you again. Though that does beg the question of what you actually do until then."
