"Sorry, but I don't like the concept of changing your species. Something about it just doesn't sit right with me."
-
"That would be a bit freaky. Plus I can just get you a week long visa anyway."
-
"You're from Moebius, so I don't even know if this holds true for there. But it's possible you could've been human, or potentially not even existed, which I don't want to think about."
-
"No I'm really not. That's how it was. Long ago humans were the dominant species on this planet."
-
"You didn't know? Mobians came about when visiting aliens bombarded us with some kind of genetics bomb, fusing human and animal DNA or something like that. My relative caused said bombardment apparently. Word of advice: don't dissect the first alien you come across."
-
"But it would be done using a horribly unscientific method, and it's not in a controlled environment. Besides, I don't want fur. Being human is just fine for me. We were doing great until aliens decided to bombard us from orbit."
-
"It's a menace by the sounds of it. Don't be hurt if I don't want to go swimming at your place," joked Hope.
-
"I see what you mean, though I reckon Zamy might've quit if she had a bunch of unruly kids to deal with. She's got enough problems to deal with as it is."
-
Hope facepalmed. "That's totally crazy. At least you didn't get shoved in."
-
"What's happened now, dare I ask?"
-
Hope laughed. "Good to know. And don't worry, you'll be back on your feet in no time, and there's still plenty of time for you to find someone if you want to."
-
Hope rested her hand on Melody's shoulder. "You did the right thing, it never would've worked. And quite frankly I wouldn't want to see you get all googly eyed like Skye does. I don't think I could handle two people like that."
-
Hope sighed. "This must be very difficult. But I'm guessing you aren't going through with it, thankfully."
-
Hope didn't know what to say at first, it was certainly unexpected. But it did make sense in theory. "I see. I'll be honest I didn't see that coming. Do they know about it? I mean, it sounds like you've accidentally got a bit of Skye in you."
-
Hope wondered who it could have been. "Ok, whenever you're ready."
-
Hope thought back. "Yes, I do vaguely.... is this about an echidna doing this to you? Because that's just not fair." --- Shadow was surveying the room he had dropped into, looking for anything out of the ordinary, or even just a sign of what it was. It was much larger than expected, and as he moved through he could make something out near the end of the room, an object on a table.
-
Hope wheeled her to an empty booth in a quiet area, got their ice creams then came back with them. "Take your time."
-
"Ok, bye Anna." Hope waved back and went to Melody. "Ok, let's get an ice cream first if you want. I'll pay, don't worry."
-
"The benefits of having a teleporter. What's up?"
-
Hope saw her phone. "Ok Shadow, I shouldn't be long." "Understood. Keep your radio handy in case of emergencies. It doesn't matter if you're at the lab or on the moon in that event." Hope laughed. "Will do." She then hit a button on her teleporter and arrived at the parlour.
-
"I've had enough of this." Zamy realised she still had Zhadow's blaster on her and pulled it out. She aimed at Skyloft and fired repeatedly.
-
Zamy surveyed the scene, totally unsure as to how to make an effective attack.
-
"Ok, here goes nothing." Zamy rushed ahead to try and find this attacker.
-
"You're telling me," muttered Zamy as she teleported over.
-
Zamy groaned. "Great. Ok Ziona, I'm on my way over."
