Shadow the Hedgehog

"Sure, why not?" Shadow sat in the chair opposite Hope and put his arm on the table. "I don't suppose you'll let me win?" joked Hope as she did the same. As soon as they started Shadow was winning, though Hope put up much more resistance than she would've without the spell, and it took a good half minute for him to win.

*hands board back to Lino* It was no trouble.

It's fine. I wasn't doing anything else here anyway.

*takes board and charges it with chaos energy*

"I can imagine. Now for the strength boost." Hope cast it and felt no effect. "I don't feel any different. Will I only know if it worked if I try doing something?"

"That's pretty neat. Thanks for showing me these again."

"Ok, I'll go for the illusion spell." Hope read the words and a copy of her appeared next to her, totally motionless. "Kind of creepy how it doesn't move. Like a wax figure almost."

Hope laughed. "i'm sure that'll make me popular." She cast the spell and turned the cover to a deep blue.

"Something small, like this booker cover?"

"I might try the transformation one," said Hope.

"I swear I'm going to throttle them when they get back," muttered Zamy. --- "Ok, cool."

If it gets me out of this dimension faster. And it beats standing around collecting my thoughts.

"I'm fine Melody. But I'll keep it in mind."

Never thought I'd be used as a battery. Ok, hand me the gear and I'll charge it.

"No I think I'll be alright," laughed Hope. --- "Exactly. If you two had the decency not to wreck other people's property, there would have been no trouble," said Zamy.

"Yeah. Just gotta make sure I don't get it too close to my hair or anything. I'm not a big fan of wigs," joked Hope.

Hope gingerly moved her hand and the ball of flame followed it. "This is where it explodes," she said, half worried.

Yes. I shan't bore you with the details, but I'm immortal among other things.

Yes, I'm Shadow, the ultimate lifeform, and apparently a ruthless dictator in one universe. How quaint.

"Same here," replied Hope nervously as she cast the spell, making a small ball of flame float next to her, about the size of a candle. "I'm lucky it wasn't bigger."

Another person dragged here. Not particularly suprrising.

"So am I. Hmm, I think I'll try evocation next."

"I know, it's a good first effort though, right? And no, no ill effects."

"Ok, here goes nothing." Hope fired her tazer at the force field. It absorbed the energy for about 15 seconds then dissipated. ---- "Watch your tongue or I'll haul you off to Zone Jail," retorted Zamy before smirking when Lucy hit the pair.

Sorry. I'm not a people person. But... I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to know me in the future.
