Shadow the Hedgehog

"No you couldn't have. Do you know how fired we would be if you did, and what if you got hurt?" ---- Zamy took her seat and handed out the refreshments again. "It's nice and quiet again. It could be worse, the film could have been set in a cinema," she joked.

"It's ok. Even if you were able to run about you still wouldn't be able to do anything." ------ Zamy bought the tickets and some more refreshments. "Don't worry, you'll be fine."

"What's wrong Melody?" ---- "Exactly, it's just pretend."

Shadow and Rouge landed on the beach and quickly put on the scuba tanks, th elatter donning a wetsuit as well. "So we're just gonna swim out and dive down looking for anything suspicious? We might be here a while," said Rouge. "I know, let's just hope we have enough air," replied Shadow before they swam out. ------ "Basically idiots doing things like splitting up when a killer's on the loose, saying 'I'll be right back' and generally being stupid. This one has some kind of monster on an island by the looks of it. I'm pretty sure it won't be scary."

"Indeed. Keep us updated Hope," said Shadow as he left, returning with scuba gear which he handed to Rouge before using Chaos Control to take them to the shore near the spot. --- "I saw a trashy looking horror movie, could be good for a few cheap laughs at clichés."

"He's staying put," said Hope. --- "Cool, I'll have a quick look at what's on."

"We don't have much choice," sighed Shadow. --- "We might have time to see another film if you want."

"I don't know, undersea ruins?" --- "Yes it really is. Nice choice."

"He's in the sea apparently." ---- "Let's move on to happier topics," said Zamy, seeing Anna's expression.

Hope moved her hand across the continent, eventualy settling a little off the shore. "Awww no." ---- Zamy put her hand on Harmony's. "Sorry Harmony, I really hate him, but I'm not usually this angry. I should vent it out somewhere else."

"He's on the move but it's him this time." --- "Given that scumbag installed a chip in your neck, screwed with my memories, and planned to change history to secure his own selfish reign, I wouldn't trust anything he said. Alicia had Shadow as a mediator, Miles was just unchecked evil."

"Almost got him." ---- "True, and it wasn't like it was an unopposed rule. Your Shadow got close to dethroning your family for Alicia several times apparently, though I doubt she would have been any nicer a ruler."

"He's moving again, as if the 'signal' is beoling diverted through different proxies. I'm getting closer to the source though." ---- "I can imagine, though I still don't approve of how you got it."

Hope cast after Melody. --- "Good to know," laughed Zamy.

"Ok, I'll go after you." ---- "Well enjoy it while it lasts."

*walks along hallway and bumps into Rouge* Rouge: You're finally back handsome, we were getting worried. Shadow: Rouge, it's good to see you, I'm on my way to- Rouge: No you're not, you're coming with me to see Omega and we're doing this mission together. We're a team.

*walks into Commander's office, leaving a few minutes later* A giant snake by the name of Hood. Eggman has some strange subordinates.

"Anyhow let's start when you're ready." --- "Don't worry you won't have such luxury everyday," said Zamy.

*nods and Chaos Controls to base for a briefing* Well let's see who I get to go after first.

"Either excessive bed rest or bloodletting was what they prescribed. It didn't end well. But don't worry, I'm not some leech peddling quack," laughed Hope. --- "It was my pleasure girls," smiled Zamy.

I see. As I told Tails I appreciate the help. But I still have a job to do and a war to win.

"Don't worry. I'll give you gruel for the rest of the day, or would you prefer a more old timey approach?" joked Hope. ---- Zamy laughed and bought the cake and some drinks. "Great minds think alike apparently."

"So long as you eat right you won't." ----- "Suee thing. What cake do you want?"
