Shadow: Funny. We're doing the freedom fighters' job for them in less than a day.

"No problem. Anything I can do to help." ---- "I intend to, no matter how much they complain it'll hurt. It barely stings."

*Shadow and Rouge return to the transport and head for Regina's last known location*

"Ok Melody, I'll see what I can do." --- "I think that's not a bad idea Miles. Hopefully you're right."

"I could if you want?" --- "So, what are you planning for tomorrow?"

"Walking speed or a little faster." --- "I doubt we'd be able to do such renovations. Not our job anyway. Locking the door might be the easiest solution."

Rouge: Why not go after Regina? She's the freak directly attacking us. Shadow: Good point. It's agreed.

Hope started attaching a motor. --- "Maybe you can."

"Ok, now where did I put that..." Hope started looking through some boxes for the items she needed. ---- "You couldn't pay me to go back in that room, and I think it's safe to say we'll cordon it off."

"Sure thing." --- "I'm sure they can handle her as well."

"I'm done now anyway, I just need you to hop out so I can install some things." ---- "You might be able to talk them into letting you help."

"It's fine, I can handle this." ---- "I'm just pulling your leg. Though once backup arrives tomorrow I think you'll be free from that task Miles. "

Shadow: I think I'll let you choose the next target Rouge. Maybe we'll have better luck that way.

"No problem." Hope had a look at where to attach the motor. --- "Maybe, if I feel you need it," joked Zamy.

"I'll have a look at it then." ---- "Exactly. Besides if you really feel like one you can burn it off tomorrow."

"No, we can't. There really isn't much else to do I'm afraid." --- "No you haven't, and you aren't. You're just hungry."

"So what do you want to do now Melody?" --- "Ok, duly noted."

"Try and talk him out of it." --- "I'm sure we can remedy that."

"Exactly." -'- "I enjoy the thrill of them, yes. Though that isn't to say some can't scare me."

"Because it would be too much too fast and jeopardise his functioning. Besides, we all like him just the way he is." ---- "Sorry! You can ship me off to the scariest new release alone if you want," laughed Zamy.

"Not unless I installed the relevant chip, which would be a bad idea." ---- Zamy tried moving on. "Erm...the second one was also good, though I don't think Anna enjoyed it much."

*Looks at pocket watch, jumping slightly when a blood curdling scream is heard from the interrogation room. Looks inside, seeing DEL dead commander with terrified expression* Shadow: 35 seconds. I was hoping he'd be more resilient. Rouge: Maybe we should use a different technique. What's on that tape anyway? Shadow: 3 hours of the world's most terrible stand-up comedy. Perhaps you're right.

"He doesn't have a full range of emotions, but he can express sentiments." ---- "I was telling Miles the films today were good."

*Team Dark re-enters the transport with the prisoner and flies back to headquarters* *Shadow carries prisoner to interrogation room, cuffing them to a chair and putting a tape into the VCR. He hurriedly left the room as soon as he pressed play*
