"Exactly. And I wouldn't want Shadow to get distracted." ---- "I meant making yourself hungry when you're not would play havoc with your stomach."

Shadow: We've almost got her, looks like her escort has spotted us.

"I'd hope not," laughed Rouge as Hope went to get popcorn. --' "That sounds like it could be potentially dangerous."

"Oh yeah I remember Hope buying that. I'm still surprised someone could look so much like me. Mind if we join you?" asked Rouge as she leaned on Shadow. ---- "Oh no, no cheating, mister."

"I'm sure I can find some somewhere around here," said Hope as Rouge Nd Shadow entered the lab. --- "You know, where you have to eat a particularly huge meal in a time limit, or really spicy food."

Rouge emerged from the medical room and walked with Shadow back towards the lab. --- "Yeah that would be uncomfortable." ---- "Just your appetite. You should enter those challenges at restaurants."

If she makes it into Mobotropolis we'll be taking a pay cut when the UF try to patch up relations with the royals.

"I still hope she makes it," said Hope as she wheeled out the big screen and put in the film. --- "I think we'd need two each just to be safe."

"I sure do. He's on my bed. And you never know with films anymore, nowadays they like to bomp off the protagonist to be 'different' or 'edgy'." --- "I think you're right. He's going to burst soon."

"Yeah. I wonder if she'll survive the alien. And what said alien looks like." ---- "Be my guest."

Hope went to her room and returned with a handful of DVDs. "I'm trying to remember which is which. One is the Rouge lookalike trapped on a spaceship." ---- "Same here, I'm finished."

"Yeah I have it for presentations. Comes in handy in times like this." ---- "Not at all."

"Cool. I'll go grab them." ---- "That's fine Miles. Enjoy it, you only live once."

Rouge finished cleaning the cuts on Shadow's face and undid the back of the wetsuit slightly so he could clean hers, wincing whenever she felt the antiseptic go in. "I suppose all things considered we did well. It's not every day we fight a god," she said. "I still think he's out there. I didn't see a pile of ash anywhere. You're patched up, I'll let you get changed," replied Shadow as he went and stood outside the door, closing it on his way out. ---- "Well I still have some movies we haven't watched from the other day." --- "I think it's one I'll lose."

"Let's move on, shall we?" --- "I think you'll have eaten the entire world supply of jelly in a much shorter time," joked Zamy.

"I am Melody. Trust me." --- "You're even outdoing us on dessert."

Shadow used Chaos Control to get himself and Rouge to the medical room. She started to clean the wounds on his face. "I really don't need this Rouge," he said. "Don't give me that, Shadow. It can't hurt." "I'm more concerned about you, you've got deeper ones on your back." ---- "It's fine Melody, really." --- "Thanks. It was luck more than anything."

"Yes I understand." ---- "They seem to have everything here."

"So you mean I did all this for nothing? You've still got a few days before I can do anything to help with your legs so this was the best I could do in the mean time." ---- Zamy just laughed.

"I hope you get a lot of use out of it." --- "Just the once," laughed Zamy before she started her cheesecake.

*Shadow and Rouge jump out of the transport* Shadow: i'm glad we didn't bring Omega, she'd control him and tear us to shreds in a heartbeat.

"Yes!" ---- Zamy got up and picked out her desserts before returning. "I really shouldn't, but I have worked hard."

Hope got out of the way. ---- "I think they do."

She's almost there. Let's go.

"You can see that again. It's analogue now by the way." --- "What are you gonna go for? I'm getting cheesecake to start."
