Shadow the Hedgehog

"That's a relief." ---- "Any luck finding a spell, Melody?" asked Hope.

"Looks like Dylan's had a break down." ---- "I know you can get out of there Shadow, but it's still risky. Let's hope it doesn't come to that."

"What happened?" ---- Rouge nodded before Shadow explained his backup plan to her.

"Nice spot." -----' Rouge used the teleporter to bring it back. "This was too easy. This one didn't even look like it was left for years either."

Zunnie followed. -- Rouge eventually saw it sitting in an inlet.

Zunnie laughed. ---- Sgadow went back to examining the tablets. ----- Rouge was now under Mobotropolis, still searching for the tablet.

"Oh no I'm fine," smiled Zunnie. ----- "Yes. You saw what happens when I don't."

"Exactly. Go for it." ---- "Yeah she wouldn't be happy with me."

"It's ok to enjoy it. You may as well do it while you can." ----- "I don't intend on doing some idiotic sacrifice when I could easily get out of there, so don't worry. I might get singed a little but I'm not checking out anytime soon."

Zunnie smiled back. "Yeah I'm afraid it is." ---- "If I did it somewhere remote it wouldn't threaten anyone. And I've outrun some explosions in my time."

"That doesn't surprise me. You always did want your childhood back." ----- Shadow laughed a little. "Sure, why not? I've got a last ditch plan to take our god out. I figure if I hit the tablet from the reactor, it'll release all that energy in a large explosion."

"Do you like being a kid?" ----- "I Nah that's for the desperate."

"I know Ziona. Thank you." ---- "More like the store ran out. Everybody wanted that certificate."

"That's great. And I am thanks." ---- "No that's ten coupons," he joked.

Shadow laughed. "Yeah something like that." ---- Zunnie waved. "Hey Skye. How's it going? Any luck finding Miles, Zark?"

Zunnie pointed. "He's just over there. He isn't going fast." ----- "Of course. I didn't get the title of Ultimate Lifeform from a cereal box."

"Tracker says he's moving." ---- "Glad to know you still have faith in my abilities."

"Trust me, I won't let that happen," said Shadow. ---- Zunnie followed after Ziona, keeping an eye on her tracker so she knew they were going the right way.

"But it won't come to that."

"We're all dead otherwise. It is a risk."

"Good, we might just pull this off."

"That brings me to my next point. How will we stop him? Any rituals in that book that can help?"

"Maybe we could nearly finish assembling them, keep the last tablet close and wait for him to appear."

Zunnie stood there awkwardly. ---- "Exactly. This guy might want us to do his job for him, and I say we make him think we're obliging."

Yes, we are. And I can still handle the Doctor's machines without my powers.
