Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow stood where he was. "We've stopped him for now."

Shadow appeared in the lab, shaken but alive.

"True." Rouge was still listening to her communicator which suddenly started crackling like mad. "There's the explosion..."

"I know he will," said Hope as she started to help set up.

"I know. That's why I came back here. All we can do is wait I guess."

Hope teleported herself, Rouge, Omega and Melody back to the lab. "I didn't know whwt a safe distance would be."

"Give me the tablet and I'll get it done," yelled Shadow. Rouge responded by getting the charged tablet and kicking it over to him. "Time to leave I think," she said.

The hands started to weaken under the attack so Shadow attacked Mephiles again to keep him there. "Great. We've almost got this"

"I don't know. It might do."

Large purple worm like creatures burst from the ground and started to attack the hands with fireballs.

Hope arrived with Omega, who gladly started blasting the copies as Shadow finally pulled free.

Rouge flew up and caught Hope before she hit the ground before dive kicking the copy. "I'll get Omega," said Hope before teleporting off.

So this is the real one? I expected more from- Hope didn't finish as she was knocked into the air by a copy of Mephiles.

"I'm not sure. It could be he just messed up the shot so it was blunt. Or Shadow's just lying through his teeth,"

Mephiles formed his arm into a blade and stabbed Shadow in the shoulder, though he returned in kind with a Chaos Spear. "For a god that was a pathetic attack. I'm not even bleeding. Why don't you sharpen that thing next time?"

Rougw ran over and tried to help pull Shadow free.

Shadow dragged him into the circle and Hope cast the spell, though his leg was grabbed by the hands as well. "It's ok, start the ritual. I can get out of here," said Shadow.

Shadow turned around and jumped at Mephiles, motioning for Hope to conjure the magic hands to hold him in the circle.

Hope jumped when she saw Mephiles start toform nearby.

"Good. Just one more. I'm keeping the explosive one out for obvious reasons."

"Fair point." Hope took the chalk and started marking inside the circle she had put on the ground.

Hope put the circle down and gave Melody the book whilst Shadow tried to assemble the tablets so they were aligned. "A jigsaw puzzle stands between us and the fate of the world," he muttered.

Shadow Chaos Controlled himself, Rouge and the tablets to the desert, and Hope teleported the other equipment and Melody.

Hope got some gear together. "Looks like we're all set."
