Hope laughed. "You can be my assistant if you want." ---- "Thank you, I appreciate it." "It's no problem. And of course you, Rouge and Hope K are all invited to the party." "We'll be there. I'll talk to you later." Shadow Chaos Controlled back to the lab and Zamy shut the door and sat down again, putting her feet up and relaxing.

"Yes ma'am!" ---- Zamy opened the door and let Shadow in. "A very nice place you have in." "Thanks. We're having a warming party in a week or so. But I doubt you came here for small talk." "I'm afraid not. I was hoping you could talk to your superiors about getting Hope Robotnik on day release. I need her to help analyse my blood." Zamy thought for a momenr. "I should be able to get her here."

"Don't worry, I won't let her do anything evil," said Hope. ---- Shadow eventually found Zamy's apartment and knocked on the door.

"Shadow and I can probably keep her distracted so she doesn't act up."

"Why are you so worried she'd do something? She's enthralled with Shadow's biology. And she couldn't exactly overpower anyone."

"I don't think she'd be much use cuffed," said Hope.

"I'll inform the Zone Cops, maybe she can get day release or something," said Shadow before he teleported off.

"I'm not entirely sure. Biology isn't my specialty. I may have to call her in just to be sure. I wouldn't want to give you something that makes things worse."

"Ok, this is making a little sense. I think."

Hope put the the blood onto a slide and looked at it through a microscope.

"This may take a while so get comfy."

"At this stage not really. It's a case of deciphering what this means," said Hope as she drew some blood from Shadow's arm and took it to her microscope to study. "The other Hope was much more gentle doing that," joked Shadow.

"No problem. Ok Shadow, I'm going to need a blood sample."

"Ok, I'll look into it."

"Could be much worse then," said Hope. "Speaking of crazy, I can think of someone who could theoretically fix your back. The problem being they're in prison at the moment," said Shadow. Hope remembered the piece of paper she was given earlier and pulled it out of her pocket, unscrewing it. "I hate to do anything to be like her, but I could probably take a look at this first. It might be possible to work something up without letting her out."

Hope laughed. "Yeah that could be it."

*nods to Bunnie and Antoine* Hello there.

"I'm sure I'll start to like your parents more with time. Skye and Anna I already like, and I'm sure I'll like Harmony."

"Thanks Melody," replied Hope.

"Of course. And I'm sure Hope would like having you here more often."

"We know. But still, consider yourself welcome here anytime. I'll get you a pass."

"The tracking, the draining ritual. You did a lot. So thank you."

"Don't worry about it. We stopped him now and that's the main thing. I'm especially grateful for your help Melody, without you being here we would have had a much harder time.'

"In a few hundred years maybe. The tablet I blew up seemed to show him bring defeated in anciwnt times so I guess after his pummelling sessions he has to recover."
