Shadow the Hedgehog

"Ok. If you're sure you can carry another person."

"How about not trying to make my legs fall off?" laughed Hope.

"Great. I'm so glad this worked," said Hope.

"So long as you're not dizzy or light headed from htting your head, I'd say keep going," said Shadow before returning to a dossier.

"That's a relief," said Hope K.

"Maybe you should take it easy for a while." Hope came back to the main room. "What happened?"

"I know. But still, it wasn't something easily explained away and forgiven. Wait are you OK?" thought Hope. Shadow came over to check on Melody. "You hurt?" he asked, helping her up.

"I did until people tried rationalising blowing up the universe and defending such plans."

"She's still pretty evil, we know what she did. Though then again her crimes pale in comparison to what Skye and then that god were planning. I don't know anymore."

"Yeah, I can understand that."

"Well be glad she didn't launch into a tirade about genetic material and children. Then Rouge would probably have given her the boot quite literally."

"Whose accepting what? thought Hope K.

Hope R thought for a moment. "Yes I suppose that makes sense from that perspective."

(OOC He can crack a joke every decade or so :P ). "I'm charming, beautiful and willing to deal with his occassional moping. The real question is why wouldn't he want to be in my presence?" replied Rouge.

Hope R looked at Shadow. "I do wonder. Given your biological supremacy, why would you choice to be so close to a creature so below you?" she bluntly asked, motioning at Rouge. "Because unlike you I pay little attention to biology, but rather personality and appearances. I consider Rouge dependable and trustworthy. She was the first friend I gained after awakening from cryogenic suspension. Without her I doubt I'd be the same, I owe her my sense of humour for one."

Hope R sat down and waited.

"No, I'm just conscious that standing doing nothing is my unfortunate situation now. I'd rather not do that here."

"Well there's nothing else for me to do here."

Hope R turned to Shadow. "I'm done here. You should get the Zone Cpps to take me back."

Hope went into a dofferent part of the lab and resumed her work.

"Well I should get back to working on it. The sooner it's finished the better."

"Probably not. I wouldn't want you to get electrocuted."

"Either tonight or tomorrow."

"We'll see. Anyway, yes you might be able to test it."

"I'm underground under several meters of metal and concrete. You might struggle even with a booster."
