Shadow the Hedgehog

"Must've been great seeing him then. Hi Skye." ----- Hope stepped back as the tape gave a light 'pfff' as it disintegrated. "Not much of an explosion. Still, first order is to collect our gear, locker 24a at a train station."

"So it all just snowballed. Did you ever think you'd actually meet?" ---- Hope listened to the tape give them their mission.

Zamy went over to the ecstatic Anna. "If you don't mind me asking, when did you first become such a fan of your world's Shadow? And how?'" ----- "Oooh, open it up," said Hope excitedly. ---- "I think I'll get up in 5 minutes, we've got plenty of time."

"Ok. You get the kids and I'll talk to her." ---- Hope found herself sitting in a boardroom. "Melody, you here yet?" ---- Shadow and Rouge 'woke up' in the ice hotel. "Even the bad's made of ice," muttered Rouge as she stirred.

"Do you know when her... infatuation began?" ----. Hope quickly fell asleep as well. ---- "You could at least look like you're looking forward to this little trip," smiled Rouge. "I am, I'm just still a little shaken from earlier. I think that exploding tablet through me out of sync." "You'll be fine in the morning, handsome." "Yeah, you're right." Shadow and Rouge soon drifted off to sleep.

Hope finished getting ready then headed to bed, activating the dream machine by remote. ---- Zamy hugged Anna, then went over to Miles. "Don't look so down. It's just car shopping. Would you really consider the Moebian Shadow romantic?" she whispered.

"Yeah." Hope headed to her room and brushed her teeth. ---- "Thank you." Crowley returned the radio to Zunnie.

"Not at all. I shall see you when I get back, I must go." ----- "Yep, that's him alright."

"I promise, my dear." ---- "Yeah. Though he can't complain. It's not like he's being dragged somewhere he doesn't wanna be."

"Agreed. This time it will go as planned." ----- "Well, goodnight." Rouge practically dragged Shadow out of the lab and to their apartment. "I don't think he was as tired as us," laughed Hope.

"So do I. It will be a welcome change of pace." ---- "Fairly. It's been a long day," replied Rouge.

"Slow, but it's progressing. My apologies for not being able to go car shopping with you. I'll do so when I get back." The younger one raised an eyebrow. "Why do you want a car?" he muttered. "Why not, I have the money," the elder replied, turning back to the radio. ---- Shadow and Rouge appeared soon enough, finishing off their drinks.

"Yes he does." Zamy passed over the radio. ---- "Great! Now we just need Shadow and Rouge."

"That was quick," smiled Hope. ---- "Yes, I can bake pretty well. Do you want to talk to Anna while you can?" ---- "Excellent, and yes I suppose I should."

"Exactly." Zamy heard her radio go off lpudly. "Yes, I'm here." ---- "Thank you for the backup, though I expect a large reward for this. I hope you're a good baker," said Crowley over the radio.

Zamy laughed as well. "It does make it rather funny." ---- Hope sat back and waited. ---- The older Crowley reached over and used Zunnie's radio. "Hello, are you there Zamy?"

"A wise decision. By all means go back in the portal for the kids but you should probably get to bed in an hour or two." ---- "Have fun."

"Good to know I'll be on my guard though." ---- "I'm a little tired, so it might be a good idea."

"It's not your fault. You have to take care of things in there. Now I imagine you'll get back at me by summoning a raptor in my room," laughed Zamy. ---- "Feeling tired yet?"

"I won't, I promise." Zamy let go of her charge. ---- "I wouldn't be talking to you if I worked those hours," laughed Hope.

"Would you prefer I spank the answer out of you?" asked Zamy, keeping her tone for a few seconds more before laughing and hugging Miles. "Sorry aboit that. Things are just really slow here and we thought it could be fun as a joke. Sorry if I worried you, nothing's wrong. I suppose you can get back at me any time if you want." ---- "Yeah. I'll try it when I have the free time."

"You're only digging a bigger hole with this denial." ----- "Exactly."

"You know exactly what this is about. So come on, own up," she replied sternly, trying to keep a straight face. ---- "That could work, yeah."

"I'll do it some day." ---- Zamy gave a thumbs up to Anna then crossed her arms in anticipation for Miles' arrival.

"The problem is the gun and it's connection to the wire. Both have to be strong enough to support a person's weight." ----- "Ok. Here goes." Zamy cleared her throat. "MILES! GET OVER HERE THIS INSTANT YOUNG MAN!" she yelled into the portal, trying not to laugh. "Try and look glum Anna. It'll help the mood," whispered Zamy with a wink.
