"No idea. You can never tell until it's done." ----- "Ok." Hope kept watch.

"True. Though I need to keep focused on Miles and make sure he turns out fine before thinking of relationships." ---- "Ok, good luck. I've hacked in and they're at the bar."

"Yeah. I've always been interwsted in Zhadow, but we're both cops in different departments so it would be hard seeing each other." --- "Cool. I'll hack into the cameras to give you a heads up if they're coming back."

"No, I'm afraid not." ---- "I could do that from here and you could sneak in to get the emerald?"

"Hehe exactly." ---- "I think it can. Maybe we could set some nice lighting in there, the ice would look great with different coloured lights."

"You could do. Not sure if he'd do it but it's worth a try." ---- "Hmmm. I have an idea. If we can get her in the water she'd probably leave it there with the rest of her clothes in her room. We just need a way to get them to swim."

Zamy laughed. "That's understamdable." ---- "Nah, not as fun. Can you see their room?" ---- "I can't tell if this is a bath or a swimming pool," called out Shadow before returning to the bedroom. "Let's check the rest of this place out." Rouge picked up the blue Chaos Emerald from her bedside cabinet and followed him out, hand around his waist.

"I don't think he'd go that classic," laughed Zamy. ---- "And you were right!"

"I see him in a stylish open top. Wind in his face blasting down a highway." ---- Hope took them both up. "This is so much fun."

"I wonder what he'll go for, convertible, coupé or open top." ---- Hope zipped back down. "Need a lift?"

"Some part of him must do or he wouldn't let you help him with his car." ---- Hope went into an alley and shot her grappel gun to the roof of the building, activating it and shooting up when the piton was in place.

"I'm sure he likes having you as his number one dan, even if he doesn't show it." ---- "We'll set up in the building across the street and see if you can get a visual with that eyepiece."

"I wouldn't say that. I don't think it decreases your chances that much." ---- "Nice thinking. Ok, the hotel's a few blocks up according to the briefing."

"Only way to find out." ---- "We got a good haul from this."

"Though you may want to talk to Crowley about it." ---- "Here's my grappel gun, a wrist computer for hacking, and some ear pieces. What do you have?"

"I don't think so. They probably don't like to be reminded of it." ----- "Ok, let's have a look in the bag." ----- Rouge got up and put on a dress she found in the wardrobe as Shadow explored the rest of their room.

"To be fair not many people would." ---- "Will do!"

"Yeah. I can only imagine how painful it is. All the Shadows must experience the same feeling as well. I guess immortality has its downsides." ---- "It was just an accident, I assure you," grinned Hope.

"Still, it'll be tough." ---- "I'll handle this." Hope opened the right locker and gripped the satchel inside. When one of the men got close, she pulled it out and hit him in the face with it, calling out "sorry" to him as she ran off, onlookers looking bemused.

"I'm sure he'll manage." ---- "Good idea." Hope moved to the locker, then the next one. In the corner of her eye she saw some men in suits approach.

"If she hasn't aged in over a millenium, then yes." ----- "Let's be on the lookout then."

"I seriously doubt that I'm afraid." ---- Hope laughed and slowed as they neared the train station. "Just act calm and everything will be fine. We're not being followed are we?"

"Yeah, a horrible fate." ---- "Of course. I really want to use it."

"Maybe. That's a shame, never able to grow up." ---- "Exactly, let's roll." Hope took Melody's hand and headed out the door.

Zamy waited until Skye had gone. "You know what I don't get? Tikal's meant to be over a thousand years old, you'd think she'd have matured a lot in the time, not be a child." ----- "Because it's easier to store it closer to the target I guess."
