"I sure hope not. Humanity whooping the aliens would be nice, but I wouldn't want my best friend to disappear," smiled Hope as she got the books down.

"Yeah. I've got some history books we could look through for a good item for him."

"It depends on which time period. Precious metals are always valuable, and in some places spice or silk could be valuable."

"Hmmm.. maybe we could get something in the past by trading something that was valuable in that time period?"

"I'm not sure. It could lead to dangerous repurcussions in our time."

Hope shrugged. "I haven't a clue, that's not my area of expertise. Maybe a time machine would be better," laughed Hope.

"Most of it was all destroyed. Anything that's left is either still buried or in a museum. I guess we'll have to dig."

"Nothing. The only real interest I know he has is Rouge. I suppose he likes old world things, but by their nature they're few and far between."

"For all her claims of superiority she can't even fill out the basic fotm. They really are simple," thought Zamy. ----- "Yeah, this is tricky."

"Yeah, and he doesn't broadcast his interests either."

Hope laughed. "I hope he didn't hear that."

"Nothing springs to mind. I think it needs to be something that appeals to his emotions rather than practicality."

"Not hard. The installation you're in is controlled by the most security conscious peoole ever known. They're always watching and ready to act." ----- "Exactly. What about Shadow?"

"Paperwork. If you don't fill it out after a certain time after crossing Zones you'll be classed as tresspassing, and either go home or go to jail." ---- "Good idea. I just hope I can get it working, we may need magic."

"That could work. Though I'm not sure I could afford jewels."

"Very well then. That just leaves you," said Zamy as she slid a pen and form across the floor to Sarah. ----- "Erm, start brainstorming I guess. What can we do for Rouge?"

"Ziona, is there any point me processing your alter ego? They are basically hijacking your body so I could just make a note of it." ----- Shadow and Rouge left the lab to get their daily briefing.
