Shadow the Hedgehog

Topaz pulled her sidearm and started shooting at Mina, hoping even if the aura protected Mina it'd at least stop her current attack. --- "Then what do you suggest we do?"

Topaz just managed to dive to the side of the blast. --- "She probably screwed with her appearance."

Topaz tried to keep her aim on Mina, but settled for letting go of the gun when she realised it wasn't going to happen. "A real cheap trick you got there." ---- "She's too old to be the same person. This is Moebius Mina from the future.... I think."

"Do you really think you can win here? Come quietly and you might just live." ---- "This is not good!" yelled Hope.

Topaz looked up at Mina. "This was unexpected."

Topaz span around and pointed her weapon at the source of the voice. --- "I think we have our suspect."

"Very nice work." --- "Yeah, minus the evil."

"Topaz gripped tightly. --- "I can imagine. There goes Melody, showing off."

Topaz took her hand. "Thanks." --- "She's just climbing a ladder. Though I'm guessing you don't exactly get many movies on Moebius."

"Hope they don't mind us using this fire exit," replied Topaz as she climbed. ---- "You have any idea who it could be?"

"That office building over there probably." --- "I know, just keep looking."

"Good thinking. It'll be like fish in a barrel from up high. Any preference as to where?" --- "I can try," said Hope, bringing it up on the screen.

"I know, but they shouldn't be expecting company," replied Topaz. --- "I'm afraid not. Topaz should still have her shoulder one on though."

Topaz used Hope's spare teleporter and took them to the location of the next pillar.

"Just don't get cocky. We still don't know who it is."

"Take one of these headpieces so I can give you info in the field. And for goodness sake be careful. This could get ugly."

"Neither Shadow nor Rouge are experts at dealing withagic. They're both on mission elsewhere anyway."

"Well I meant Melody. If everything goes right we only need one person."

Topaz got up. "Come on, I can get you over there."

"Ok. Will they be in the centre?"

"Looks that way. You know how to stop it?"

"Ok, that top right one was the first, then it's going down and around in a pattern."

"I can work it out by looking at the energy sognature's timecrame," replied Hope, typing on the computer to bring it up.

"Where will the next be"

"Then how do we find out whose drawing it?"
