"Exactly. I still remember the oxygen destroyer I had to destroy." ----- "Given I'm on the only Zone Cop stationed here I'm probably not working hard enough."

"Yes, there is that. I did just invent a time machine, though I'll probably have to dismantle it once we get back." ----- "Great, after all that's happened I need some relaxation."

"No, I'm satisfied with who I am." ----- Zamy laughed. "Good point. You still up for swimming today?"

"It could well be, I blame that blasted alien bomb." ----- "You wouldn't have, it was really quite funny watching Harmony act like royalty, she's a natural."

"Really? I can understand the cod, but I always thought the heat would be a nightmare unless your species was adapted for it. I guess I got that wrong, though not surprising, I'm not the biologist" laughed Hope. ----- Zamy stuck her head around the gym doorway when she heard someone inside. "Hey Anna. The plan worked very well."

"Yeah, it must be worse for you with that fur. Not having it is one of the benefits of being human, or Rouge." ------ Zamy got up and went to find Anna.

"You and me both."

Hope followed as well.

"A few, heading that way."

"Good thinking." Hope looked across the ground for any tracks in the dirt.

"True. Which way should we head?"

Hope sighed with relief when they were out of the mine, before noticing no one was around. "I think we might need to walk for a while."

"Agreed. It might turn some heads if you sprint in carrying me."

"That might be a littel tricky, so let's go for the horse."

"Yeah, let's hope we cna find a horse first."

"This is a pretty big one. It should get us what we need."

Hope nodded and continued down, eventually finding a nugget.

"Exactly." hope activated it as she entered the mine. "I'm getting some readings, about 100 metres into the mine shift we should get some gold."

"I might be able to use the scanner on my watch."

"Good thinking. Let's hope we don't meet any miners here or they might get annoyed with us taking their gold."

Hope found herslef standing on a dried up river bed. "Yeah, I think we're here. See any gold nuggets lying around?"

Hope looked in the mirror. "Perfect! Let's go." She set the date to 1885 and activated the machine.

Hope kept still for the illusion.

"Yes please..... there! I think I've made the right modifications to the teleporter, and I didn't even need nuclear material."

"Cool. Saying that I might need some period clothes as well."
