"Sure. I distracted old you after all."

"Don't worry. I'm getting good at this," smiled Zamy.

"What is it? We don't have time to lose."

"Ok. What do you need me to do?"

"Can you block the circle?"

"I'm all for it. Shooting her didn't seem to work."

"Got a plan?" whispered Zamy.

Zamy teleported herself and Miles to Melody's location, having put her watch back on.

"I'll have a think but I no one springs to mind," replied Hope.

Hope handed one to each of them. "Not sure what else I can do from here apart from monitor the situation. So good luck."

Zamy sighed. "I don't like it but you have a point. Let's go."

"What do you plan to do if I do bring you along?"

"Well I could send any number of soldiers to an adjacent building," said Hope. "From the feed I doubt they'd be able to punch through her aurabthough."

Zamy took 3. "I'll go and help Melody. If you can find anyone to help it'd make things easier. I know you said Team Dark is already ona mission."

"What do they do with them? Just hold them?"

"Ok, what do we do now?"

"Ok Miles. Any time now."

(When someone sticks a knife in you at that kind of speed, it's hard for me to suggest a non lethal blow)   Topaz misjudged her next dodge and found herself landing hard at the bottom of the fire escape.

(I can't exactly let her get skewered, can I?)

Topaz waited til the last second to teleport behind Mina, hoping to throw her off balance as she had to stop at the edge. --- Zamy took her watch off and handed it to Miles.

"I could say the same for you. Without your magic you're just some 3ft runt." ---- "I've got a watch if that'll help," said Zamy.

The spell hit Topaz's sidearm, cracking slightly when she dropped it. ---- Hope put down some pencils and a ruler that were laying around the lab and Zamy put in her pen. "It can be anything, right?"

"Any ideas Melody? Bullets don't seem to work yet." ---- "Anything you need?"

Topaz gritted her teeth and managed to pull the pin onba smoke grenade, kicking it towards Mina. ---- "Great. Better get to it then."

"What the?" Topaz struggled to keep a level head. --- "What's faster, somethingbto protect us or something to get through that shield?"
