Shadow the Hedgehog

"What do we do?" ----- "Yeah, let's blame it all on you," joked Hope.

"He'll pop up soon." ---- "That's an understatement."

"He should be there." ---- "I think it's easier to ask who won't believe us," laughed Hope.

Zamy pushed Skye in. ---- "Shadow and Rouge probably will."

"I'd rather not risk it." ---- "It'll make one heck of a story."

"Yeah. I don't want anyone having to go in after him." ------ "I'm so glad we did this."

"Sure thing." Zamy heaved Skye to the edge. ---- "You'd get some odd looks trying to use them," laughed Hope

"Ok. Fingers crossed." ---- "Well, I'll just have ice cream."

"I'm sure he'll be ok." ----- "I hope so!"

Zamy looked over. "Is he OK?" ----- "I can imagine it works well for them."

"Water won't help you much with the spiciness. Milk is best apparently. We can grab some afterwards if you want, I see a little shop over the road."

Hope finished her meal in 20 minutes

"That's a relief."

"Do you want something else?" asked Hope.

"Thank you." ---- "I really like it. What do you think?"

"Miles, just do it please. The sooner it's over, the better for everyone. I don't want to come over there and make him take that stuff." ----- "It really does," said Hope as she started eating.

"Oh yeah. I guess that's in your favour then. Miles better fix Skye soon, no use hanging about." ----- "Yes, sister," laughed Hope as the food arrived.

"Yes. I'm not sure it's what Glen had in mind when he first met you. Has Miles given Skye the antidote?" ---- "Good point, we'll be fine."

"Yeah. Are you sure you can handle it though? I mean, I'm trained as a probation officer so taking care of Miles is something I know I can do, but you're a beat cop sent here to watch over Skye originally. I'm not saying you couldn't do it, just.... if you need help or tips, feel free to ask. At least let me fill out your paperwork." ------ "I sure hope not."

"I... see. I guess that could work." ----- "So long as we don't get crushed, yes."

"Great. So, any idea on what we're gonna do about these in the long term?" ------ "You've got that right. It's gonna be packed."

"Exactly, so don't give the bosses ideas," laughed Zamy. ----- "I know, it's almost overwhelming at times."

"I doubt they'd do that well in the probation department. And I like being paid, believe it or not." ----- "So, what are your thoughts so far on the city?"

"If you could get them to join we'd all be out of a job." ----- "Great." Hope ordered their meals.
