"Yeah, whoever it is they're coming towards us." ---- "Erm, I'm not really sure what to do. I've never been to a party like this." ---- "They're not here, they must've left to a safer place," said Zamy as she put the symbol on her front door.
-
"Neither do I. Wait a second, I think I see someone in tje fog." ---- "Yeah. So many people around." ---' "Ok Zean. Just stay close." Zamy teleported them both to her apartment.
-
"Wait.. if we go, will that put her in harms way?" ---- "Ok, I think we're here." ---- "I can come with you Zamy." "Are you sure? That whole case took its toll on you. I wouldn't want to-" "I'll be fine. Trust me. This is what I need."
-
"She should be in Haven I imagine." ---- "Just think of it like training wheels," laughed Hope. ---- "It would've got me if you hadn't come," said Zean. "Just helping you out. You're safe here now. But I still need to finish this."
-
"Unless you wanted to ask Ziona." ---- "Better that than you stagger about like one." ---- Zamy was helped up and switched the light on, revealing a duck. "Thanks Zean. I thought it had got us both for a second."
-
"I can't get there. You'd need a Zone Cop teleporter." ---- "It's ok. Just hold on to me." ---- Her colleague eventually pulled the spirit off of her and threw it out the door before slamming it shut.
-
"Let's hope she can handle it." ---- Hope helped Melody up. ----- The door swung open as a figure rushed in and tried to pry the ghost off Zamy.
-
"No sign of her yet." ----- Hope hurried down the stairs. ----- Zamy's torch clearly illuminated the ghost's face, but before she could react thr ghost pinned her down. She could feel her heart racing and desperately tried to push them back.
-
Shadow kept an eye out. ---- "Yeah. I'll try it though. Anyway let's head out." ---- Zamy opened the door to see the whole apartment darkened. She slapped one of the symbols onto the door, turned on her flashlight and headed inside. Almost immediately feeling something brush against her, she fumbled for the light switch but was flung towards the centre of the room, bumping into a table but not falling over.
-
Shadow sighed. "Let's find a secluded one." ---- "I wouldn't want it to get knocked off at the party." ---- Zamy reached the right floor and headed for her colleague's apartment.
-
"It might be worth the risk. I'll watch your back." ---- Hope burst into a giggle. ---- Zamy used the lift to head to the right level in the apartment building, not noticing the ghost looking at her from the second elevator.
-
"Ghosts? She only mentioned one. Several would make things a lot worse. Are you sure you can get this tracking up though?" ---- "Perish the thought!" ---- "I know. Thank you so much for helping us again. I'll visit soon with gladder news, I hope." Zamy bowed and teleported to No Zone.
-
"I'm.sure she will be." ---- "Shouldn't I be rubbing off on you, being the older one?" laughed Hope. ---- The monk handed Zamy several talismans. "There's one for your home and your colleague. The others you must place on the forehead of the spirits." "I haven't seen the husband, or the boy yet." "For your sake I hope you don't, that man was evil."
-
"She's got a plan at least." ---- "Well yeah, but that's different. I'm perfect," joked Hope. ---- Zamy reached the monestary, relieved to see the monks there and the usual symbols hung up. She approached the head monk and they both did a slight bow, the monk looking concerned. "I feared this may happen. Come inside, I'll give you what you need if you get the other to your colleague. He may be in danger too." Zamy followed the monk. "We thought this wouldn't happen," she said. "Neither did I. Normally spirits need some wrong righted, what you did should have let them go."
-
"We can't. We don't even know what Zone she's in." ------ "Ah quit your complaining," teased Hope.
-
"If it followed Zamy here, it could've followed her back. Maybe this was a way of seperating her." ---- Hope laughed as she headed out the door.
-
"Agreed. Still, plenty of room to run." ---- "Yeah, I can. Shall we go?" ----- Zamy was heading up a dirt path after passing through another park, everyone else going about their daily lives.
-
"I'm not sure whether that's a good thing." ----- "Oh dear."
-
"Let's keep on the move just in case." ------ "Oh, that sounds risky."
-
"Well, at least much less callous. You'll make her proud." ---- "Ok, go on."
-
"That's good. You'll be normal yet." ----- "It sounded interesting."
-
"You expressed cpncern for others. Zamy's doing one helluva good job on you." ---- "I knew it'd be thst, but you sound like you don't wanna talk about it."
-
"Ok, we made it. Plenty of people around as well." ---- "Oh, ok then."
-
"Ok, we're on the ground floor, let's go." ---- "Please, go on."
-
"I don't know how hard it is to get one of those talismans." --- "It isn't. You're lucky all your clothes still fit.' ----- Zamy was making her way through a city, checking behind her as she searched for the road to the monestary.
