"You can't really understand as you're used to magic and ghosts almost from birth," said Zamy. ---- "I guess we'll have to see."
-
"Well it's the idea of seeing is believing. I wouldn't have believed it if I wasn't there." ---- "That should get you through the night. We should get some of the fireworks later as well."
-
"Well to be fair ghosts aren't something we really come across, well, ever," said Zamy. ----- "I've still got a fair few shots left on mine."
-
"Because when you put in your report that some of your team died of heart attacks after seeing a ghost in a house you subsequently burnt down, it doesn't look very flattering." ----- "Yeah. Good thing we have these cameras for some photos."
-
"Just a couple. Everyone thought I was mad," said Zean. ---- "Agreed."
-
Zamy put the ice pack on her ankle. "Yes. This case has been haunting me ever since I started it a few years ago," explained Zean. ---- "Upbeat, poppy people who just want to enjoy themselves."
-
"Thanks for the help Zean." "No problem. I couldn't just leave you thrre. And this was the closure I needed." --- Hope looked at them over Melody's shoulder.
-
"Thanks Miles," replied Zamy as she downed the water then pulled off her boot. "The ankle's sprained but I should be fine with some ice otherwise. How're you Zean?" "Ok all things considered. That guy had one heck of a punch." --- Hope picked up a couple of relevant magazines and bought them.
-
Zamy and Zean maxe their way back into the apartment, the former hobbling slightly and the latter with a black eye and some bruises. "I'd say his violence was less of a threat than her heart attack inducing look," said Zamy as she sat down. ---- "That's a relief."
-
"We... we got him. We're beat up but we got him," replied Zamy. ------ Hope headed back to the music store.
-
Zamy tackled the ghost to the floor and Zean pinned him down, together they managed to put the talisman on its forehead. ----- "It should be given the occasion."
-
Zean tried using the talisman but the ghost's strength meant it was able to keep his arm away from its face. ------ "I think I saw a magazine in the music store with them on the cover."
-
Zean rushed in and tried wrenching it off of Zamy. ----- Hope made her way out as well.
-
Zamy only suffered a glancing blow and got back up, dodging the attempts to grab her and yelling for Zean to get over there. ---- "Let's go."
-
Inside the bedroom Zamy saw the small child sitting on the bed, carefully approached it and put the talisman on its head with a reassuring smile. Once it was freed she was violently knocked to the ground by the final, much more aggressive ghost before he tried to stomp on her ankle. ----- "I'll get them out."
-
"Ok, thanks Miles," replied Zamy through Zean's radio. She headed into the bedroom while he checked the bathroom. ----- "Good idea. I think I picked upa a couple of their cassettes in the music shop as well."
-
The apartment was fairly well lit, but seemingly empty. The pair headed in to investigate further. ----- "Exactly."
-
Zamy closed the door behind her as the pair headed down. They opened the apartment door below. ---- "That's good to hear."
-
"Stay there Miles. You can use my radio to contact us," said Zamy, tossing it over. ---- "Can't complain. It's a fun zound."
-
Zamy and Zean rushed out the door and headed for the stairs. ---- "I get the feeling pop is the thing right now."
-
"Thanks Miles. I'm sorry you have to deal with this." ----- "Yeah. Still, they sounded good."
-
"I'll explain it to you some day. It's rather sad." ----- (They were coming to their end, but were still active throughout 2000 before a hiatus).
-
"Yes. 2 more in fact, but only one of them is malevolent. Sadly he's also the most dangerous." ----- (Spice Girls?)
-
(OOC That was a weird glitch)
-
"I'm ok, I got one of them," called Zamy as she re-entered the apartment. ------ (I'm trying to think of who was big back then).
