Shadow the Hedgehog

"I can certainly see that," replied Shadow.

"True. Anyway, as you can see Melody and I brought back some souvenirs as well."

"Well I do have that book you gave me."

hope laughed. "Ok then."

"I thought you were the magic expeet."

"I hope I can understand it."

"Yhanks," smiled Hope. "Be proud, your magic's done something my tech can't do yet."

"If Hope struggles to do it, Dr Eggman most likely will as well," said Shadow. Hope smiled at the compliment.

"The technology is rather tricky."

"It's ok, I'll get used to it. And it should give me some practice should the good Doctor ever use an invisible robot."

"Oh joy. I'm sure she'll have a grand time sneaking up on me."

"What is it?"

"Not at all. Do you have anything for her?"

"I'm not even sure myself."

"Rouge suggested giving you an annoying dream tonight and changed the settings on this."

"I do. Thank you very much." Shadow walked over to the dream machine and hit a few buttons. "Best I change it back."

Shadow opened the box, looking at the revolver inside. He looked upa t the girls and smiled. "Thank you, this should make a nice decoration."

"That's a relief. What did you get me?" Hope handed him the box.

"Sure. Well you see Shadow, I managed to turn my teleporter into a time machine, and we brought some stuff back from the old world. We even got you a little something!" Shadow looked at them, slightly perplexed as to how they managed not to alter the present.

"Is there something I don't know?"

Hope waved at Shadow, who raised an eyebrow at the music and Melody's dancing. "Hello..... when did you get all of this stuff?"

"Agreed." Shadow reappeared in the lab, deciding to get the photos onto the computer to save time later.

"True, but you never know. It could be minor."

"Yeah, it was. I hope they're not planning some kind of elaborate revenge."

"Yeah. And I think Rouge's suit is nearly done."
