Shadow the Hedgehog

Hope got some beakers out then poured a chemical into each one. ------ "There's no escaping me now," laughed Zamy.

Hope pulled some chemical bottles out of the drawer. "If you turn the lights off I can show you something cool with these." ----- Zamy moved over. "Not if you sit on the other side."

"I'm thinking, I'm thinking," replied Hope before walking over to one of her lab benches. ----- "You can sit next to me if it'll make you feel better."

Hope sat down and pondered what to do. ---- ""You didn't look like you were in on it."

"Now let's think of something to do." ------ Zamy gave a genuine smile. "Relax, I'm just kidding, there's nothing to worry about. Now eat your dinner before it gets cold."

"Same goes to you." ------ Zamy set her plate on the sidetable next to her. "Don't worry, everything will be absolutely fine as long as you don't look behind you."

Hope gave her friend a hug. "That means a lot to me." ------ Zamy gave a mischievous laugh.

"No problem." ------- "Not all of these films go for a sense of relief. In fact many of the good ones stick with you." replied Zamy before taking a bite into her half of the pizza.

"I'll have a think." ----- "You can never tell with these movies."

"Do you want to do anything else while you're here?" ------- "That's a fair point, the teens are at least trying to form a plan now."

"It suits you." ----- "I don't think anyone in that situation could be classified as 'smart'."

"Not really. It's not particularly interesting." ----- "I think their leader is starting to think straight."

"Don't worry I have my ways of keeping shape," replied Hope. ---- "It's ok, and yes that seems likely. Only a few left anyway."

Hope nodded and paid the bill before teleporting herslef and MElody back to the lab, Shadow and Rouge following when the former used Chaos Control. ---- "They could at least be quiet about it, where's the discipline?"

"Shall we head back then?" ----- Zamy took the plate. "Thank you. Hey, pipe down," she yelled at the screen as someone was being offed.

"I'm not underestimating him." ----- Zamy got up and poured out some glasses of water.

"Given he's still on the island I doubt he'd know to." ----- "Thanks."

"Thanks Melody," smiled Hope. ------ "That's a relief. How's the food coming along?"

"It also burns through my wallet," teased Hope. ------- "Good to hear."

"You can't have all the dessert you want and still hope to run everywhere." ----- "Trust me, if your actions upset me, you'll be hurting," smiled Zamy.

"I don't think so," replied Hope. ---- "But your methods aren't anymore."

Hope took her time but was soon finished. ---- "You used to be utterly selfish in the pursuit of your goals."

Hope nodded in agreement. ---- "That's good then."

Hope eagerly started when she could. ----- "Never thought I'd see you stumped."
