  1. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Honestly, I'm fine just figuring it out in my head. This crossover's had so much exposition as it is, I don't know how much more I could stand...
  2. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Eh, I think it makes sense. After all, Sigma was only using the D6 and Mechaniloids to stall the heroes, so that he could resurrect his Mavericks. He wanted to drag out the battle on the Sky Patrol for as long as possible. Plus, X told the others to stay away from the D6, which they did. It's unlikely that the D6 even got a chance to try and control the heroes before the Mechaniloids were all destroyed and every hero began to gang up on them. Power-armour or not, that's way to many heroes to stop altogether. So they wait for an opening (in this case, it was X trying to reason with them) and then start to control them. Either way, it's dragging the fight on long enough in Sigma's eyes. The only thing that's bound to surprise him at this rate is if a muscular man and kick-tastic woman come out of nowhere and... waitaminute...
  3. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Probably because they were relying on their army of Mechaniloids first. That, and the Deadly Six technically didn't choose anything. Sigma's the one doing this.
  4. Man, it feels like I'm getting closer to fully realising my special project. I've at least figured out a possible beginning and end...

  5. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Time for another summary/review, this time for Part 6 in Sonic Boom #9:     Huh, well that was rather simple. I enjoyed the action in this issue, even though the Deadly Six didn't really do much until the end. Seeing the other Boom characters flee was understandable, but I'm sure they'll find something to do until this thing ends. And we finally get our first glimpse into a non-Sonic/Mega Man world... sorta. I guess it makes sense that they don't want to completely reveal it in-story yet, but at least they make it clear enough who Sticks is talking to, for fans of that series. I'm actually rather glad that the D6 aren't completely mind-controlling the Mega Man/MMX cast (then again, I don't think they even CAN) as it makes the upcoming 'Sonic Heroes vs. Mega Men' fight different enough from the first crossover. But that weapon the doctors are working on... I'm certainly curious as to what will become of it. Overall, I thought this was an enjoyable issue throughout. Now to see how things go for the heroes next week in Part 7. (Oh, and the Sonic Battle Book comes out too.)
  6. Mega Man (Comic Series)

Still gonna happen sadly, they just didn't bring it up in this issue's solicit. I'm betting the next/last one (issue #55) will have it in there somewhere.
  7. Sonic the Hedgehog (Comic Series)

Woah! Is Sonic delivering these previews now or what?! We're barely reaching July, and we already have the covers and solicitation for Sonic #278:       More key-hunting, pretty much. Though maybe there'll be some surprises in store. And Bunnie taking on Cassia? Hehe, now this is gonna be fun...
  8. Sonic Universe (Comic Series)

Well, that was quick! It's not even July, and we're already getting the covers and solicitation for the third part of 'The Silver Age', in Sonic Universe #81:       Oh look, a new character. Seems like we may have a possibly-psychic, possibly-future hedgehog tenrec here named... Gold. This is gonna get really crazy, isn't it?
  9. Mega Man (Comic Series)

Holy fast updates, Mega Man! We're not even into July, and already we have the covers and solicitation for issue #54, 'Red Shift':       So, this may be the issue where Break Man finally becomes Proto Man... right? Well, it's hard to say for certain, but what gets me about this preview is the line about Wily 'still' being alive. Shouldn't Blues already know this from the events of 'Worlds Unite'? Unless they're gonna do what I think they're gonna do...
  10. Sonic Runners (2015, Smartphone)

I'd been trying to use my Xperia Play (which is compatible with the game, according to Google Play) but to no avail. I've uninstalled it for now.
  11. Old Pokemon RP (OOC)

I was gonna say, that whole 'crash' scenario seemed a bit sudden and... well, off-putting for the beginning of a Pokemon adventure. I'm fine with it not happening.
  12. So, after reading some of the reviews that Sonic Runners has been getting... I'm not sure if I really want to still try and get it working on my phone.

Aside from the bugs, it just screams 'freemium game'. Apparently, a lot of things were changed from the soft-launch version, all of them bad.

    3. Shinomi-chan

      Shinomi-chan

Oh man.. that's too bad. I'm so sorry.

  13. Sonic Runners (2015, Smartphone)

I'm trying to play on Android, but still failing. Though I've heard that the iOS version isn't nearly as bad as the Android version.
  14. *sigh* Well, I guess it's official. I cannot play Sonic Runners at all.

Sorry to hear. Hope you can eventually

Hope you can play it soon.

Oh I'm so sorry N'egga Man.

  15. Sonic Runners (2015, Smartphone)

No idea. I've been trying all day to get it working, and even with the update/patch they've released (ver. 1.1.1) it just crashes at the loading screen. It's ridiculous!
  16. Old Pokemon RP (OOC)

But then wouldn't the poor person playing as Ash totally have to lose at the Pokemon League due to an arbitrarily dumb reason? :P
  17. (After nearly 10 attempts to get Sonic Runners working...) Welp, that was a waste of time!

    1. Danny Felixe

      Danny Felixe

      Yikes. Sorry to hear that

I can't get it because my phone has no space :P But it sounds like I shouldn't waste my time with it just yet

      NegaMetallix

Don't get it. At least, not yet. There's been major problems for many people since the worldwide launch yesterday. Heck, it's gotten worse for me since today's update and the birthday 'celebration' event began.

I'll keep it in mind then!

  18. Sonic Runners (2015, Smartphone)

I've just been looking up the issues people are having with the game and... holy cow, this sounds awful! It's literally making some devices reach burning temperatures. What the heck, SEGA?!
  19. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Judging from the previews, we can at least guess that these characters will represent their series:   - Street Fighter: Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chun-Li and M.Bison - Breath of Fire (3): Garr, Honey, Momo, Nina, Peco, Rei, Ryu (there's two of them?!) and Teepo - Ghosts 'n' Goblins: Sir Arthur, Princess Prin Prin and the Red Arremers - Viewtiful Joe: Sexy Silvia (yes, that's actually her hero-name) and Viewtiful Joe himself - Okami: Amaterasu (the sun-wolf-god thing) and Issun (the little thing that follows her) - Monster Hunter: Chaotic Gore Magala (the giant dragon) and Melynx (the cat-thing)   - NiGHTS into Dreams...: NiGHTS and Reala - Alex Kidd: Stella and Alex Kidd himself - Billy Hatcher: Rolly Roll, Chick Poacher, Bantam Scrambled (where did they come up with these names?!) and Billy Hatcher himself - Golden Axe: Tyrius Flare, Ax Battler, Gilius Thunderhead and Death Adder - Skies of Arcadia: Vyse, Fina, Aika, Drachma, Gilder, Enrique, and Galcian - Panzer Dragoon: Base Wing (the not-as-big dragon)... and that's it.   Only five of those characters are villains, being Death Adder, M.Bison, Galcian, the Red Arremers, and Reala. I'm curious to see if they're going to be joining Sigma's side for the crossover, or if they might work with Drs. Eggman and Wily for some other nefarious plot.
  20. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

I swear, whenever I see artwork for Alex Kidd, it looks like he could fit in almost perfectly with the classic Mega Man characters. Anyway, I am excited to see how they handle the other franchises. What moment in time are these worlds set? How many characters from each world will there be? So many questions, so little time!
  21. Sonic Runners (2015, Smartphone)

I've been hearing that a lot of people are having either minor or major problems playing this game. Unfortunately, because of that, I'm probably gonna keep away from this game until it's fixed. (Then again, given my phone's track record with apps, I highly doubt I could even play the game on my phone. It's a shame really...)
  22. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

      1) We don't know. Sonic's cast might remember the event, but they'll be focusing on the Shattered World Crisis first and foremost. At best, I could probably see Sonic or someone noting that they should fix the world quickly, after 'recent events'. As for Mega Man... that one's trickier. I'd imagine they might remember, but it would make things a little confusing once the timeline goes past MM10 and into 'Worlds Collide'. Though with the hiatus, Mega Man's likely just gonna wind down after this.   2) I don't think it'll be too hard. After all, 'Worlds Collide' was 12 issues, and people complained that there was too much filler with too little amount of characters. And while some are now complaining that they've gone too far on the other end of the scale with this crossover, I'd rather wait to see the outcome before judging it myself.
  23. Old Pokemon RP (OOC)

Guess I'll tag along for this adventure too.   Name: Xander Bishop DOB: 22nd May 2000 Age: 15 Focus: Battles Talents/Skills: Has an excellent talent for swimming, as well as decent cooking skills Starter: Piplup Description: Average height, slightly pale skin, short brown hair, wears a yellow shirt and black jeans, often with a dark red jacket over the shirt. Personality: Is often quiet, but enjoys interacting with others. Can be quite calm, even in tough situations. Background: Living in Dirk Town, young Xander Bishop always wanted to be one of the very best trainers, just like his father. But when he recieved the option to pick a starter Pokemon at the age of 10, he declined as his family had suffered a great loss at the time. Because of this, Xander chose to stay at home and help his family, as well as learn more about Pokemon battles to prepare himself for the future. Around five years later, he decided to truly begin his journey through the Ganlo region.   In terms of a Legendary Pokemon to take dibs on, I'm gonna pick... Zekrom. Always did have a liking for Dragon/Electric.
  24. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

True, Shadow Man did seem rather... shady (heh) when he said he'd stick around in MM #49, so I expected that he might turn traitor eventually (probably around the time that the Stardroids arrive on Earth). But after just one [Mega Man] issue between the reveal? Kinda sudden, if you ask me. And while someone's bound to say that it might be connected to the hiatus later on, I personally doubt that. I'm sure this was planned anyway, hiatus or not. Either way, it just felt a bit too sudden for me.
  25. Sonic & Mega Man: WORLDS UNITE?!

Time for my summary/review of 'Worlds Unite', Part 5 (Sonic Universe #77):     This was a fun issue to read, especially since it acts as a nice breather to all the chaos from the last couple of issues. The art, while much more colourful than last time, seems kind of wonky to me, and sometimes it's hard to tell how a character's supposed to be reacting to something, but I've seen far worse. I loved most of the character interactions in the Sky Patrol, some highlights for me including NICOLE with Quake Woman, Antoine with Zero, and Sticks with Xander. I enjoyed the little nods to Sonic's and Knuckles' alternate counterparts too, but they were something I expected from the get-go. And Shadow Man still being evil? ...Eh, I guess I kinda saw that coming, but definitely not this soon after MM #49. Not much else to say really, aside from being excited to see the Deadly Six take on the heroes next time.
