"Great," said Melody getting back on the treadmill, giving a little jump without realising it as she did so.

"I've done it before, I can do it again. My brother ain't around to mess me up this time!" said Melody.

Melody laughed to. "I can carry you so they won't touch the ground, don't worry!"

"Yeah, so am I. As soon as I'm all back to normal, I'm gonna take you for a run Hope!" smiled Melody. "Unless you can think of a better way for me to say 'thank you'!"

"Nope, I'm fine!" grinned Melody as she stood back up. "I think I've almost got my balance back again."

"Yeah. I was just taking things to fast! Common problem!" grinned Melody taking her hand away from her head. There was no mark where she'd cracked her head.

"No it's okay Shadow. The pain's almost gone already," said Melody. She looked up at Hope. "I just slipped and lost my grip, that's all," she said.

"A little bit, yeah," said Melody, holding her head where she'd bumped it. "My legs still aren't quite there yet." 'I'm... I'm mostly okay, I think....' she thought to Hope.

'I don't think he was really 'rational' at the...' Distracted, Melody slipped, fell and whacked her head slightly against the treadmill controls.

'You had to bring THAT up again,' thought Melody with a sigh. 'Yeesh, and I thought you good people had an easy time sorting out morality.'

'Still, she did help fix me, so maybe I shouldn't want to see Rouge give her a swift kick,' wondered Melody.

Melody tried not to laugh, but her face did split into a grin. 'That would almost be worth seeing' she thought, half jokingly!

'Oh, sorry. Just your alternate about Rouge and Shadow being friends,' thought back Melody.

'Well well, she does seem to be accepting it,' thought Melody.
