Melody laughed. "Now that's a loaded question Shadow!"

Melody had started dancing to the music when Shadow repeared. "Hey, Hi Shadow! How's it going?" she asked, still dancing. ------------ "You'll be spending more time around me, so learning more... domestic and etiquette skills, and maybe even some combat ones, if it becomes necessary." ------------ "I hope so," said Stacey

"If they are planning something hopefully our little tribute should stop that!"

"I doubt it... it's not quite their style... uh... not quite Shadow's style."

"Great. Hopefully it will make up for.... er... last night wasn't it?"

"Yeah. And we've still got to give Shadow his present!" said melody

Melody grinned as the music started up. "Not heard for centuries!"

Melody handed over a tape. "Her you go. It's from the same band that we partied with!"

"Great. I'll choose some music," said Melody

"Yeah, we really did! It's a great collection. Let's put some music on!"

Melody helped with the unpacking, piling the cassettes up.

"Yeah, let's unpack. Focus on the happy parts of the trip."

"Yeah, that's a good thing," said Melody.

"I know, that why not not the same," said Melody hugging her friend.

"Let me tell you that you have," said Zoe. "But... well... Handmaiden duties are very different to what you've done before." ---------- "I guess we'll just have to see. I hope it works," said Stacey.

"Yes you have.." said Zoe, hoping Sarah's fake memories would match that. ------------- "By making her more nervous if she thinks she can't live up to it," said Stacey.

"Because you've done well Sarah, and I think you deserve it," said Zoe. ----------- "That... might work... or backfire horribly..." said Stacey.

"Yeah, and Anna too," said Melody. "Not exactly the same, but...."

"Sarah?" asked Zoe. "Say something." ------------- "A... what?" asked Stacey with a raised eyebrow.

"So... I was thinking it was time to... promote you in your duties," said Zoe. "To be my Handmaiden." ------------- "What? WHAT?" asked Stacey. ------------ "I can imagi..... actaully.... I kinda know how you felt," said Melody.
