"Great," said Melody smiling. -------------- There was nothing but silence. "Maybe we've disappointed him by not being scared," said Stacey. ----------- "So you don' need to ask if I really wanna do something if I say I do."

Er... um... okay.....

"You'd think it'd WANT us to leave!" said Stacey. ------------ Zoe smiled. "Really, when I say something, I tend to mean it."

"Don't worry about it," said melody. -------------- "It feels real," said Stacey touching it. "It might be there was a door the ghost closed."

You called Master?

"Oh, okay. It just sounded a bit detrimental, that's all," said Meloduy

"Yeah it was interesting. But I guess from 'masquerade' you don't approve?"

"Yeah. I guess our ghost friend doesn't want us to leave," said Stacey. ---------------- "Yes really!"

"Uh... Dominic.... I don;t remember there being a wall here!" ---------------- "I don't mind it," said Zoe. -------------- "Yeah, true," said Melody

Stacey nodded and started heading back. ------------ "Well, why not?" asked Zoe. ------------- "Seems too much of coincidence," said Melody

Yes Master. All set up.

"Agreed. Maybe we should head back to Haven and try to work out what we're up against," said Stacey. ------------ "Yep!"

"But the fact a film from way back then has an almost identical remake today?" asked melody. ------------ The laughing returned. "I say that's likely," said Stacey, creating a glowing orb again. ------------ "We won't know till we try," said Zoe.

"Well, given how similar a lot of the stuff is...." ------------- "There's clearly something..." A gust of wind blew through the chamber and extinguished the torches. "...here..." ------------ "I know, but I'd like to try doing the thing you find fun too!"

"Yeah, but the main time we visited seemed similar to now, just not quite so advanced," said Melody. ----- "There was?" Stacey gulped. "That must be why I couldn't see or hear you.... but where is that thing now?" ----------- Zoe smiled. "Well, we've been doing things that I've found fun, so how about after we've moved my stuff into my new room, we do what you find fun then?"

"Hmmm, the bits we saw seemed very peaceful, but we didn't really do much research," said Melody. "And the further back in the past bit, that was more... tense." ----------- "How... how did that happen... there was... some... skeletal figure," said Stacey. ------------ "Good girl. And don't worry," said Zoe.

Melody sat down on the bench. "So, any questions about the past Shadow?"

"Sure thing, here you go," said Melody handing it over.

Melody laughed. "Not again!"

Lights obscured Melody, and when they faded, she was back to her usual Mobian self.

"Phew, I thought I was babbling," grinned Melody as she should in the middle of the circle, that started to glow.

"Yeah. I think... If you think as if you have a sorta 'magical memory'. You'll always remember your normal form, and when you change into a new one, it's stored in the memory."

Stacey feel to his knees and shook his head, the black fog lifting. "Dominic... what.. where?" ------------ "You did?" asked Zoe surprised, then she smiled. "I never did that myself. Just make sure you're not wearing your nice clothes when you do!" -------------- "No, I can change back without it. Actually now, I could probibly re-take this current form with a picture or you nearby."

"AttacK? How... how could....." The laughing turned into shrieking, and Stacey clutched at his ears. ----------- "Yes?" asked Zoe
