"Why would age stop him, if he's lived this long?" asked Ziona. --------- "But it's not right," said Zoe.

"I was meaning if the guy you let out decided to start killing," said Ziona. --------- "Because.... Because I don't think it's fair for people to be subservient to another."

"You aren't, What about everyone else?" asked Ziona. ------------- "I.. I.. I wanted to make you... more... confident. More independent Sarah."

"Judging by what happened here, I'd say otherwise," said Ziona. ---------- "I thought... I was... trying to help you...."

"Why not? I should worry about you kids," said Ziona. --------- "Oh... I see," said Zoe.

"If... you say so. But I'm worried about you," said Ziona. --------- "You wouldn't?" Zoe echoed

"How can you be sure?" asked Ziona. ------------ "You don't?" asked Zoe.

"Hmm.... sounds like more happened than you just being given this place," said Ziona. ----------- Zoe shook her head. "And which one would you prefer?" she asked.

"How did it happen?" asked Ziona. ------------- "How so? Would they prefer I treated you like a slave?" asked Zoe.

If only they could have delayed the show for a few months. Then we'd have a near perfect game!

"That... sounds strange," said Ziona. ----------- "Yeah, not your standard Yagyu!" grinned Zoe.

"Have you been here before?" asked Ziona ------------ "Then... I should make sure I live up to their expectations," said Zoe.

"I'm coming, I'm, coming. How do you know this place so well?" ------------- "And that... makes them proud?" asked Zoe.

The trouble was the progression. The Sonic Adventure stories and design rubbed some people the wrong way, Sonic Heroes had niggles, and Shadow was trying too hard to be 'mature'. Then 06 happened. After that what was needed to beat the critics was a back to basics Sonic game. Essentially, something like Generations. Instead, we got Unleashed, which IS a good game don't get me wrong, but it was WAAAAAYYY to easy to lambast at first sight.

"Great. I'll definitely get them," said Melody. ------------- "Yeah. A cabin in the woods is a little extreme," said Miles ------------- Stacey set off too. Ziona sighed and ran after the boys. ------------ "Proud?"

"They do sound nice," said Melody. ------------ "Yeah, but... there's quiet, and there's remote," said Miles.

This does sound likely. There is a lot of unjustified hate for Sonic games after all, and it's popular to bash them

"Those sound nice. I might join you again," said melody as she looked at the menu. ----------- Miles shuddered. "I'll pass thanks! The country isn't quite my style anyway!" -------------- "Yes, let's check it out," said Ziona. ------------ "I just realized, this must be hard for you too. You're also away from your family."

"Yes please," smiled Melody. ------------ "Huh... I guess that would be a discouragement," said Miles as he walked back into the living room with a timer. ----------- "That doesn't narrow it down," said Ziona. ------------ "You're my friend Sarah. That's more than enough. Friends are the only family I have right now."

"Yeah, thinking too far ahead!" grinned Melody. -------------- "Have they tried just leaving the house yet?" called Miles.

"The tomb... has a caretaker," murmured Ziona. "Yeah, that's why the tomb was said to be haunted," said Stacey. "My Master was imprisoned here when his court revolted against him. And I was created to try and find a way to free him. Whether he is what you would consider 'good or 'evil' I do not know," said the figure. ------------- "Thank you Sarah, thank you," said Zoe.

"Figure?" asked Ziona, then tenses as the shadow formed a figure. "If you are asking about my former master, I'm afraid there is little I can tell you," said the figure. "Uh.... who is...?" Ziona asked, looking at Dominic while pointing at the figure. ------------ "It... was..." said Zoe/
