Actually, it was that 3 characters could be used, but ONLY if Penders was informed of how they would be used ahead of time, and agreed 100% with it.  And was allow to veto their appearance should he wish.

(Ahhh!  Hence the confusion, because Zangoose isn't a snake! He's a big.... white rabbit sasquatch thing, with a big red scar) ----------- "No, you're not," said the Voice. ---------- Ziona woke with a start.  "Vipey?" ---------- "So what shall we work on?" asked Skye.

"Translating...." murmured Skye, then after a moment said a quiet 'sorry'.

"Okay!" said Zoe, leaning her head against Dominic's. ----------- Now it was Ziona's turn to snore. -------- Skye followed behind. ---------- "How to be a nicer person," said the Voice.

"You are so unwilling to learn," replied the Voice.

"Oh... yeah..." said Zoe. (That's what I get for posting when I'm not fully awake!) ---------- "You are very infuriating," said the Voice, though it sounded ammused. ---------- Ziona settled back down to sleep. ---------- "Lead on," said Skye.

Thing is you have a few really dedicated RPers on the topic, so they tend to be all over the place, and pretty quick with the replies. There are basically 3 options I'd guess 1) If you don't mind jumping in mid-way, you can ask for a quick summery of what is going on in the active RP's, and join in.  Most are pretty simple when you come to it. 2) If you have an idea for a story, start up an new RP.   3) As ChaosKaiser suggested, reactive an old one, though I'd say unless you a picking up where it left off, 2 would be better. And as for Free-Play, well... if people want to post, it's sorta ready to go.

"Hmm.... good idea Honey," said Zoe. ----------- "You're not even trying," said the Voice. ----------- Ziona stirred a little with the snore. ---------- "Thanks," said Skye.

"I feel sorry for you Squishies," said Skye apologetically. 

"Where did he go?" wondered Zoe. ---------- "But you should still try," said the Voice. ---------- Ziona continued to sleep. ----------- "Need a hand?" offered Skye.

"Let's go!" said Zoe, setting off. ---------- "No, I won't, that would defeat the purpose.  And I don't wish it go come that far," said the Voice.

"To say sorry for making him upset!" said Zoe. ----------- Ziona smiled in her sleep. ----------- "So... what now?" asked Skye.

"Is emotionalness a dominant or recessive trait I wonder?" pondered Skye.  "And certainly, here is the map."

"He was on the roof.  He just moved when you started searching for him," said Zoe.  "Let's go find MAX." ----------- The Voice sighed.  "Aren't you at least willing to accept that not everything you thought you knew is 100% true.  Maybe I should wipe your mind clean so you can start again from a blank slate." ----------- Ziona hugged Seviper. ------------ "True, but there are degrees of abnormality," said Skye.

"I wonder if he will be less.... emotional," wondered Skye.

"We better go after him," said Zoe. -------- "That is not an argument," said the Voice.

"It did seem.... upset.." said Zoe. ---------- Ziona smiled in her sleep, her own tail doing the same to Seviper. ---------- "I have noticed!" grinned Skye with a wink.

"It guess it..... oh!  You have a message Myra," said Skye, displaying the message on the screen.

Zoe blinked with surprise.  "I wasn't expecting that!" ----------- Ziona drifted off to sleep happily next to Seviper. --------- "I do have a really odd family though!" grinned Skye.

"Really?" asked Zoe sounding doubtful. ---------- Ziona moved closer to Seviper, getting comfortable and setting down to a nap too. ---------- "I guess so," smiled Skye.

"Why?" asked the Voice.

"But which one is it?" asked Zoe. ---------- "Sleep well Vipey," smiled Ziona, giving Seviper a light kiss. --------- "She... well, she's really happy to have a proper family.  I think she's almost has forgotten her old life," said Skye.
