"The detective and his friend are probibly used to it," whispered Miles. "Maybe the other guy is eating as a distraction?"

"Sure. Why not?" asked Stacey. --------------- "When you fell in... it.... it changed you. Into who you are now. You were... different before," said Zoe.

"Uh... I'm doing good thanks," replied Skye. "It's been a while."

Skye jumped as his communicator beeped. "Uh... hello?"

The Detective, Assistance and Descendant settled down for an evening meal. --------------- "Maybe Skye or one of the other can work it out," said Stacey. ---------- "That pool... you see... it's... enchanted..."

Hmm, there is a potential way to explain it. If the Super Emerald begins to affect his programming slightly, maybe something that LARCC could point out. And this begins to create more of a personality as the story goes on?

"Yeah. But it's gone well so far."

"Not that interested?" Stacey asked. ---------------- "Okay, uh, well... Do you remember... falling into the pool in the library here?"

"I wonder how it all works out," msued Stacey. -------------- "Okay... uh... do you... remember anyone travelling with us aside from Dominic, Stacey and Mark?" asked Zoe.

"We've an odd family!" smiled Stacey. ------------- Zoe sat down at the edge of a flowerbed. "So... Sarah.... what do you remember about...travelling with us?"

"But they're both nice now!" added Stacey. --------------- "We'll... we'll see..." said Zoe as they entered the Arboretum. -------------- "That's been wrapped up neatly," agreed Miles

"Or Uncle Miles for that matter!" added Stacey. ---------- Zoe slowed down. "Sorry Sarah. I got ahead of myself there."

Stacey smiled. "You wouldn't think so to look at him." -------------- Zoe went as fast as she could without leaving Sarah behind.

"I guess that came more from Skye than Sasha then," said Stacey. ------------- Zoe stood up too, heading for the door. "Ziona? Me and Sarah are gonna go the the indoor garden place to talk." She gave Ziona a look, wanting her to follow but not take part.

As the Detective and the Assistant returned, the Decedent met them with news. The Butler had been signalling of the convict and dropping off supplies, because he was the sister of the Butler's wife.

"I know, it's not exactly honourable," said Stacey. ------------- "I... don;t know. But I think it's for the best, okay?"

"We'll find out soon. They're back at the mansion," said Miles.

"I'm guessing the butler!" whispered Miles.

"Yeah, it does. Wonder where he got those clothes?" pondered Anna.

The Detective was quick to work that out as the Hound howled again. As the convict was wearing the Descendant's clothes, the Hound had followed his scent.
