Yeah, I know it's bloody unlikely what with all the issues and legalities and mandates and everything. But it would be nice to see something good come of this

I have thought of one possibility that may make this good. Maybe, just maybe.... possibly, perhaps.... Sticks might join the main series?

Well c'mon, who else is likely to make it to the final? Only reason it didn't happen in Sonic X is cause Eggman showed up, and more is at stake this time.

"I can do so to a limited degree, though I could also use it to power my magic."

*facedesk* Okay guys, wanna know what this is. A way to get fans to buy 5 series of comics. That's all. There is no good creative sense in this, only a short sighted business sense. Or maybe hoping that after the cross-over readers who are new to say Boom or X will keep reading. And therefore make more money. This is a big misstep. as most people above have pointed out.
