Skye Prower

"How?" asked Stacey.

"I h-hope not!" said Stacey.

"What is they stop us from being allowed to train next?" asked Stacey worried.

Cyberspace reverberated around Skye for a moment, a memory of his past playing for a moment. 'Why should I care about them when they're mean to me...?' a much younger version of Skye's voice echoed, though Skye himself seemed to be unaware of what just happened.    "It is my nature," Skye replied.  "But they are not useless or insignificant.  They have lives, sentience.  And they can serve a purpose, even if it is only companionship.  But right now, it is because there are much higher stakes.  But now, let me ask you a question..." For a moment, Skye's demeanor changed back to that of the shy child.  "Why did you choose that mask?  I think it looks really c-cool!"  Not paying attention, Skye almost fell into the pit as it formed.  He spun his tails and just managed to catch himself, but it left him distracted and open.

"Yeah, the grown up are just being mean," said Skye. "You dunno what magic is?" Zoe asked MAX. ----------- "That's okay, in the meantime she can use my spell," said Skye.  "Alright, I'm ready.  Are you Ally?" ----------- "Maybe I'll do it a bit more often then!" winked Ziona.

"We better!  I dun like not being able to do it!" said Stacey still huffy.

"Not fair," said Zoe. "Yeah!" agreed Stacey.

(Oh, there's bound to be something there.) "I see you've inherited your enslaver's arrogance, thinking he'd be that easy to defeat," replied Skye.  He tried parrying the barrage, but a few got through, causing him to yelp in pain.  He dropped to the ground and started reforming it, causing it to spiral around Phage to try and trap her.

"But we're not allowed to do magic," complained Zoe. ---------- "You would be able to do that?" asked Skye impressed. ---------- "Oh do you?" winiked Ziona.

"Go on!  Tell us!" said Zoe. --------- "Build one?" asked Skye.  "Annnnnd... done!" he added standing up. -------- "I..er... was just going with the flow..." said Ziona starting to blush.

"I dunno, and..... I dunno..." Zoe replied to Dominic and Honey.  "You should know Dominic!"

"You're deluded," said Skye, taking off and blasting through the top of the container before it could be fully formed.  "If the Doctor wins, he's not going to let you act free.  He'll eliminate you, or at least put so many limitations on your programming your free will would be destroyed.  Didn't you notice that reset chip he put into Metal Sonic?  Or the fact all his underlings are rigged to explode at his mere command?"  Skye formed two energy blades, one in each hand, getting ready to parry the next round off attacks.  

Zoe giggled more.  "Maybe we can make a present for him for when he arrives?"

(You're welcome, both of you!) "Hardly an error, you presented no other options when you attacked unprovoked," said Skye, forming the shield again in a bubble around him.  For the moment, it was a stalemate, though Skye knew that he wouldn't be able to keep the bubble up forever.  And besides, others were counting on him.  He tore away a section of his barrier, breaking it into small shards as he did so and hurling them at Phage.  He wasn't aiming to hurt her, just distracted he so he could escape and move to a more favourable position.  "If you are this powerful, why do you follow the orders of some foolish squishy meatbag?" Skye asked.

"Oh!  Yeah!  I hope Skye has called him!" said Zoe.

"Uh... I dunno..." said Zoe looking around.  "Any ideas?" ----------- "Great, thanks!" said Skye heading to the drawer and getting the chalk.  "This won;t take long," he added, starting to draw an intricate circle pattern on the floor. ---------- "I'm being flashy?" asked Ziona a little surprised.

"It's fine MAX.  We're sorry we upset you!" said Zoe. ---------- "Great.  Do you have any chalk?" asked Skye.  "Wow, she looks pretty!" he blurted out seeing the picture. --------- "What do you mean?" asked Ziona.

"There you go!" smiled Zoe. ----------- "Great.  Are you okay with this Zangoose?"  Skye asked.  "It does mean drawing a circle on your floor!  Oh, and Allison, oh, sorry Ally, how do you want to appear?" ---------- Ziona giggled seeing, her moves getting a little flashier too. 

"Phage..." Skye quickly reformed Cyber-space around him, creating a shield just in time to block Phage's attack.  Unlike out in the physical world, Skye attitude was different in cyberspace.  More certain and confident. "This is an unfortunate if not unexpected development.  I'm afraid you will have to return to your slaver empty handed however."  Skye reformed his shield into a wave of energy, blasting it towards Phage.  The sheer power would likely be more than Phage was expecting/ (The way I see it, this should be a pretty even fight.  I would say Skye has more raw power in cyberspace, given he was born there, and the years he spent inside, plush the fact he is thirty years more advanced.  On the other hand, fighting in Cyberspace is what Phage is designed to do.  So it is strength vs skill here. Oh, and Skye will appear as my current Avatar does!  It seems apt And finally, well done Kat with Phage!  You got her verbal tic perfectly.  Great work.)  

"Of course we like you!" said Zoe sounding a little upset at the idea. ----------- "Well, I'm sure in any body you can be helpful to Zangoose," smiled Skye.  He thought for a moment.  "If you wanted, I could use my magic to create a temporary body for you.  It would only last an hour or two, and once the spell ended you'd return to your mainframe, but it would give you a taste of living." ---------- Ziona danced happily alongside.

Nice drawing, and an interesting take.  When you said 'realistic' at first I was expecting more human proportions! 

"Of course we were," said Zoe, going over to give MAX a hug. --------- "That's understandable... and... hmmmm... are you wanting a mechanical body, or an organic one?" Skye asked. --------- Ziona giggled.  "That;s true!"

"I'll see if I can slow it down," said Skye, before entering Cyber-space.

That would get two sets of rabid lawyers chasing me!  One lot from Games Workshop for stealing their rules, and one from Sega for stealing Sonic!
