"You'll fit right in!" muttered Skye

"When you girls are!" smiled Kit.

"Must be that!" said Harmony, nodding to try and look smart.   ----------   "Well... at the rate it's filling up..." muttered Skye.

"Yeah, the Guardian's like having the big Emerald they are sworn to protect out her in the open on a massive plinth!" said Melody.   -----------   "Yeah... just we wouldn't be able to do it the next time we have a party," said Miles.   ----------   "Heh, yeah," giggled Harmony.  "They do all seem to be hiding!"

"True.  And there's the shrine ahead," pointed Melody.   ----------   "It works best the first time.  The more times you cast it on someone, the easier they find it to resist," said Miles.   ----------   "Miles was around with you kids for a while," said Harmony.   ----------   "Chumps?" asked Skye.

"Yeah, he agreed to it," said Skye to Seviper, then turned to Torch.  "And nice to meet you too!"   -------------   "We all live at Haven now, where all the Guardians stay and watch over the Master Emerald!" said Harmony.   "Except Uncle Miles and Zamy.  They live in the apartments over there." said Zoe pointing.   ---------------   "Let's hope for once we get a nice peaceful walk!" joked Melody.   -------------   "Of course Zamy, of course," said Miles.

"Good idea," smiled Melody, as she finished off her ice cream.   -----------   Miles swam over to give Zamy a hug.

"Do you want me to carry you, or you teleport, or we just enjoy the walk?" asked Melody.   ---------   "T-that... that's still... more that what I thought!" said Miles happily.   ----------   "Oh, I met him," said Skye.  "And stole, er, copied... a bit of his power."

Harmony hugged back, while Zoe pouted a little.   ----------   "You have?  Who?" asked Skye.

"Okay, let's take a little trip there," smiled Melody.  "HEY!  ANNA!" She called.  "Hope and I are just gonna on a little trip to see the master emerald!"   -----------   "R-really?  Y-you're not just saying that?" asked Miles.   ---------   "It... it was Eve," nodded Harmony.  "But it's in the past now... uh, sorta.  I'm free."

"Do you wanna?" asked Melody.   ---------   "You mean... you might..?"

"Have you ever seen it?  I mean, up close, right next to it?" asked Melody.   ----------   "Well.. it's just... Ziona's adopting one... and you... and me... well... S-sorry Zamy, we've been over this, and I'm just being silly," said Miles.   ----------   "Yeah, there's nothing quite like you in this Zone," said Skye.

"Really?" asked Melody, trying not to laugh.  "Well you don't have the Master Emerald, do you!"   ----------   "She... she did," said Miles, a tiny hint of jealousy in his voice.

"And I thought I was full of myself!" giggled Melody.   ----------   "Yeah, we'd probibly need.... adopted?" asked Miles

Melody grinned.  "Careful or I might just start feeling jealous!"   ---------   "Well... I... do know... a sleeping spell..." said Miles hesitantly. 

"Really?  That's not nice," said Kyubi

"Hey, I can still run WAY faster than you can!" teased Melody.   ----------   "We could do that, yeah.... Or maybe have the babysitting done via 'shifts'.... or... we could...er..." Miles seemed reluctant to suggest something.   -----------   "That's, uh... good.." said Skye regarding Seviper.

"Sorry," said Skye.  "Just I've not seen a... creature like you before."   -----------   "Yeah.  At least without fur you can just wipe your hand clean," said Melody.   -----------   "I... I know... I should have kept a better eye on them," said Miles.   -----------   "Dominic is right," said Harmony.  "And my home was horrible.  My parents made me a slave!"

"So you'll just hide in shadows so we can't find you!" said Kyubi

Skye looked at the snake as it approached.  "I've never seen anything like that before," he muttered   ---------   Melody tucked into hers, before it melted and dripped all over her hand.   ----------   "But... it doesn't?" asked Miles

"But it's not like your magic.  You can use magic to go completely invisible," said Kyubi.

"Just the ones you saw with Skye," said Melody.   --------   Miles missed the ball again and swam after it.  "Does that make up for havig to deal with annoying kids?" asked Miles

Melody burst out laughing.   -------------   "You're sure showing them now!" smiled Miles.   ------------   "What?  No!  I NEVER want to go home!" said Harmony with vehemence. 

"Thank you Hershey," smiled Kit.   "Awwwwwww," whined Kyubi.
