"You mean you don't want to go to bed now?" asked his mother.   "You'll get the hang of it," said Skye.

"Too late?"   "That's good," said Skye

"Sorry Seviper," said Skye.   "That might change!" said his mother.  "Ninja's do need to be well rested!"   ------------   "No doubt a few more will get eaten!"

"I was joking!" said Skye.   "You do?  And do you always follow them?"   --------   "Okay.. fair point!"

"You might not be once we start insisting on rules and bedtime and stuff!" said his mother.   "Nah.... that gives hams a bad name!" teased Skye.   ------------   "Wow... now that's a screwup!"

Skye smiled.  "Thanks Fenn.  I was trying a new recipe today.  I wanted to make sure everyone liked it"   -------   "I think that's the 'You're screwed alarm!"

"Well... I guess so.  People wouldn't want to see everyone die," said Melody.   ------------   "That's true... but we can now," his father replied.

"Hey, cheer up," smiled his mother.  "It's our fault for not being around enough."   ----------   Melody peeked out.  "They surrounded... and doomed!  This will be a short film"

"It's okay son.  But I'll need to teach you better table manners," said his mother.   "Do you like the pudding?" Skye asked Seviper and Fenn.   ---------   Melody covered her face again.

"Don't be so greedy!" said his mother.   ------------   "Not for long I suspect!"

"eww, icky!" exclaimed Melody

"I can get why!" said Melody.  "It does seem exciting!"   ----------   "Okay, tuck in everyone!" said Skye.

"You'll know soon!" said Melody.   -----------   "Is that everyone?" asked Skye

Skye laughed and handed some dessert blows out.   "I'll take some too!" said Dominic's father with barely restrained delight.   --------------     "And can she recognise speech?" Melody asked curiously.

"Right, who wants pudding then.  For real this time!" said Skye

"Er... nevermind..." said Skye.   "If you stretched out,, yeah, you would be!" said Zoe.

"But you are!" said Skye

"It wasn't a trick!" said Skye.

"Yeah.  But she can't hear it, right?" asked Melody.   --------   Skye giggled.   "Aww, don;t be like that my little ninja!" said his mother.

"It'll be an interesting experiment," said Melody

"We'll wait for you Mark.... and... just helping your Mom prove a point Dominic!"

"Sure thing.  Pull up a chair.  Just don't block Faith's view," said Melody   ----------   "Don;t worry Mark, I'm not serving up quite yet!" grinned Skye.   "See Dominic!" grinned his mother

Melody gave a start as well.  "A film about alien death machines," she answered.   ---------   "Who want's dessert?" asked Skye, grinning at Dominic's Mother

"Really?  Are you full right now?" asked his mother.

"Six minutes then?"
