Okay, hands in the air, you've got a point there.  Except there is a big 'heroes fighting each other' thing.  Which is all those bonus side issues....   Yeah, I'm gonna ring the 'they want more money' bell here.   It could be good.  I HOPE it will be good!  But I'm too cynical to expect it to be good.

Exactly.  It's a massacre.  And worse, one that no one in universe remembers.   The whole series should have been rebooted.  Not this in universe mass murder of characters.

If it wasn't an original character created by Flynn, it's out.  And even then it's not guaranteed it'll be in.   So no Mogul, etc, etc, etc.  They've all been killed off.

I liked Worlds Collide...   Well.... I like the first issue... then it got bad when the Sonic/Mega-man fight lasted too long, de-robotization process was way to easy, and the story got repetitive.  (Fight group of friends, heal them, rinse and repeat)  But from the Knuckles Man/Rose Woman fight it got better again, and I like the finale.   I just think this one is too soon, and it smacks of 'Lets do this to make money' rather than 'lets tell a good story'.  And also 'Let's do this to make people bye the new Sonic Boom comic'.  After all, it's crashing right in the way of the Sonic meta-plot.   I'm willing to bet if Mega-Man X get's its own comic, a few issues in we'll get ANOTHER cross-over to try and force people to buy all five comics.

It could be...   I'm just not hopeful.  It's just the signs are not promising at the moment.  Some stuff looks good, but my gut is saying it won't be.   That or I ate some bad cheese!

It sounds right.  Just, being a character Flynn came up with, it is possible he could stick around.  And he's far enough along the line that nothing needs to be revealed to the shippers!

I hope its not a red herring.  While is not an original idea, it is a fun one.  And it was too much an important part of the race fro it to be ignored/done off screen.  Heck, maybe it's the origin of a Boom Metal series.

The last Silver arc was pretty awesome, so with any luck this one will be too!  And if Genesis Portal are around I wonder if this might be a way to introduce Alternate Worlds back into continuity. 

Wasn't there a buildup to some kinda robot with all of the Boom's Team skills?  Has that been forgotten?  Or did they drop it cause they did the exact same plot in a Sonic X issue?
