Stacey looked away from Sarah to Ally and gave her hand a squeeze.  "Mwaybe we shwouwd gwo..." he said sadly. ----------- Ziona smiled back at Seviper.  "Maybe we should gather up our other wayward kid?" "I think so," said Skye.   "If not we can get it quickly," said Miles.

"Bwut... I wanna bwe ywouw fwiend!" said Stacey. --------- Ziona nodded to Seviper's advice. Miles and Skye returned with their tools.

"Ywou awe a bwit..." said Skye to Sarah. ------- Ziona raised her eyebrow.  "Yes, I can tell he's your brother," she commented to Seviper before turning to Honey.  "Just because you only have just met someone doesn't mean you shouldn't care about them.  If Skye haddn't cared about your Sister when they first met, you wouldn;t be here."

"You.. cwouwd bwe mowe fwiendwy Sawah!" said Stacey. ---------- "Do you think you can fix him?" askd Ziona.

"Bwut fwiends awe nwice!" said Stacey. ------- Miles and Skye hurried out of the kitchen.

"Sawah... dowesn't want fwiends..." said Stacey sadly, ears drooping. ----------- "Here's the coco," said Skye, handing Zangoose a mug that had just appeared in his hands.  "Miles and I will be right back with the other parts."

Stacey nodded. ------- "What can we do to help?" asked Skye.

"Shwe's mwy fwiend!" said Stacey. -------- "I'm sure we can fix him!" said Skye encouragingly. 

Stacey looked around for Ally. --------- "We will!" said Zoe firmly.

"Y-yweah.  Swo... whwat awe ywou owff two dwo?  Cwan mwe awn Awwy cwome?" asked Skye -------- "Oh, yeah!  It's really lame!" said Zoe, cheering up and nodding.  "We'll find some way to beat them!" she promised. ------- "Huh?  Fenn?  Why is MAX floating?" asked Skye. Miles just stared at the little Fennekin. 

Darn you for making us wait that long! ;-p Don't worry, it's cool!  Better make sure it's all done properly than rush and mess it up.  Which might be an ironic thing to say on a Sonic Forum!

Wow!  Looks great!  Can;t wait to read it! Is there a hint as to the full release date?

"Bwut I stiww wanna!" said Skye.

"Aww the twime?" asked Skye. -------- "I.. I dunno!" said Skye.

"Bwt ywou wewn't awound!" said Skye. ------- "At times...?" asked Miles, his tone a mix of amusement and concern.

"Ywou've hwid fow swo wong!  I've mwissed ywou!" said Stacey (It's what I meant to do!)  

"Wait!  Down't gwo!" said Stacey going after Sarah. (Reverting to origonal speech impediment now! Let's just retcon what it was!) ------------ Ziona followed Fenn. Zoe looked hurt and upset at Honey's comments.  "W-what?  How is it lame?  We're not lame!" she said tearfully. ------ "Are you sure?  The effects of your machines are... unusual..." said Skye.

"W-where to?" asked Skye

"Go on Fenn, take MAX inside," said Ziona. ---------- "Not with everything.  But it's handy in a pinch," said Skye

"Sorry to interrupt kids, but we really need to get MAX to Zangoose," said Ziona walking over. ----------- "And worse case scenario I can always use magic," said Skye.

"Uh....." Stacey stepped back a little (I'm just so used to the stammer I forgot it wasn't the case here!) ----------- Ziona nodded ----------- "Nah, I enjoy it," grinned Skye.  "Besides, they don't insist on it all the time."

Stacey looked down ashamed. (Oh darn darn darny darn!  Wrong speech impediment!) 

"W-when I... j-j-joined the Raiju, I w-was t-told... I c-couldn't s-speak like t-this.." explained Stacey. -------- "I don;t know, it looks like they're having a moment..." said Ziona. --------- "Of course I am!" said Skye grinning.

"O-oh.... y-yeah..." Stacey's voice was getting stronger.

Zoe grinned at Dominic, then looked up to Honey on her shoulders.  "Does playing without grown up getting in the way sound fun?" --------- "I-it doesn't?  I-it's n-not?" asked Stacey surprised. --------- "Huh.... oh, the kids are blocking the front door..." said Ziona. -------- "Then let's get some lunch," said Skye.
