Anna started making coffee.   ------------   "He owes me a new floor," said Skye.  "We better go after him."

Anna leaned over and kissed Sparks cheek, then headed into the kitchen.   -----------   "HEY!  Stop tearing up my floor!" called Skye.

"I knew you'd keep me safe," smiled Anna.   ---------   "So.. he's evolving... but it's not natural?" asked Skye.

"Yes, I suppose a cop smashing everything left and right with a hammer would be difficult to deal with," said Mina.   -------   "You did?  Thank you!" said Anna   -------   "But... what IS happening to him?" asked Skye

"Hardly," said Mina.  "I must say you're smarter and more controlled than most versions of you."   --------   "Fenn, is he?" asked Skye.   --------   "Really?" asked Anna, giggling too.

Mina gave a cry as she went flying.   -------------   "Yes silly!" smiled Anna, hugging him with her free arm

Mina was underestimating Zamy and didn't see the grab coming.   ----------   "Don't!" said Skye.  "You might be contagious!"   ---------   "No one," smiled Anna

"It could be!" teased Anna.   --------   "That's no fair either!" called Zoe, causing Ziona to giggle.   ----------   "Let's see how you fight without all that blinking around," said Mina, charging at Zamy.   ---------   "Seviper?  What are you doing?" shouted Skye.

" You do?" Asked Anna with a coy smile

" Enough with your jumping around!" Spat Mina casting a EMP spell. --------- " Yeah, the seem to be all watching the light show," said Melody --------- "Someone very close," smiled Anna -------- "No Fair!" Said Zoe huffily

" I am NOT pathetic!" Growled Mina, casting a barrage of magic missiles at Zamy. ------- " Okay, we're here... that shop looks convient... if we don't scare the locals!" Said Melody. ------- "W0we c-can't Seviper... y-you're acting strange," said Skye. ------- " It started scary," said Anna, "but then my golden knight arrived to save me," she smiled, leaning into Spark

Anna squeezed Spark's hand and led him out the door.   ------------   It took Mina a moment to regain her balance.   "There is nothing creepy about what I do," said Mina.   ------------   "And you better hurry," said Skye seeing Seviper change again.  "Sory Seviper," he added, starting to cast a force field spell around the circle where Seviper was/

Anna held out her hand

"Let's go," said Anna, springing off the bed.   --------   Zoe tried to take off but was slightly too slow and got tagged

"I'm not a creep," said Mina, aiming a flurry of blows.   --------   "We can hide out in one so Mother won't see us straight off," said Melody.   ---------   "No, it's okay.  I'll get it," said Anna

"Ah yes, that was a strange decision on his part.... but knowing my husband he probibly liked it," said Mina dismissively.   -------   "Got it," grinned Melody, grabbing Miles by the arm.  She took off at top speed, casuing Miles to cry out.  "Anywhere inn that square we can hide while we do this?"   -------   "It's a hot drink that helps perk you up," said Anna/

"I will be soon... after some coffee," said Anna

"A little.... But I'm just waking up now," said Anna.   ---------   "Maybe I just needed a more persuasive argument," said Mina as she tried to cast a mind-control spell at Zamy.   -----------   "Let's not stand around here then," said Melody.  "We better get set up.  Hope, where is the centre of the circle from here.

Anna giggled more, then sat up a little, yawning.

Anna giggled again.     -----------   "Well if you don;t want to chat..." said Mina, starting to cast a spell

"Not so chatty now!" grinned Mina, just dodging the knee.   -----------   Anna followed up a planting a kiss on the tip of Spark's nose.   ---------   "I sorta guessed," said Skye.  "Okay Fenn, you should now know what this curse is that affecting him."

"Oh I know they've got plenty of other cities," said Mina,, aiming a blow at Zamy.  "That's what the summoning circle is here for."   -------   "No.... but... Given there's only a handful of us we can;t do it from the outside," said Miles.

"Actually, it's not," said Mina.  "You need them downtrodden enough that they have to work all day, but comfortable, and depended enough that they will not rise up," said Mina.  "A few key enchantments here and there also help."   --------   "I think the phrase 'all of us' is coming," said Melody as Miles nodded.

"Of course it won't have electricity.  Don't want the peasants to have an easy life, or they might think of rebelling!" smiled Mina.   -------   Miles quickly explained how the ritual would work, over the comms so Hope could listen in.   "Okay, just one problem Miles... the whole.. being at the centre of the circle thing," pointed out Melody

"Good idea," said Melody.  "Okay Miles, let's get this set up!"   ------------   Mina parried again and backed off.     "Why?  Is this city so important to you?"
