"Okay!" grinned Ziona, speeding up and heading to the front door   ----------   "You... uh... d-didn't like flowers before," said Stacey.

Ziona laughed, starting to catch up with Seviper.

"I... I w-wanted some time alone," said Stacey.  "I didn't think you'd be here."

Stacey stopped in surprise.  "Sarah?"

Stacey didn't answer, running to the arboretum.   -----------   "Hey!" called Ziona, about to run after him, then turned to Fenn.  "Tag!"

"Yes you did!  You're being mean to me and Sarah," called Stacey, running faster

"SHUT UP!" cried Stacey, turning and running away.

"I.... n-no I d-don't!" said Stacey, looking away.

So a few random ponders... Could it be we already know the Council?  After all, the main reason for a mask is to surprise the reader in a reveal! And Von Schlemmer's confusion at his own identity.  Is it just a funny nod to AoStH, or is it an indication of something more sinister, like the council being able to program people with new identities? 

"W-what do y-you mean?" asked Stacey

"I... I do like her," said Stacey.  "She's my friend."

"N-no... but... I... don;t want her to have her mind changed.  That seems... evil.."

... wait... so... I'm not as pessimistic about myself as I think I am?

Yeah.  And that's why I'm a gloomy pessimist about myself.

"And would you like it if someone warped your mind to be more like them," said Stacey

"That... wouldn't be fair," said Stacey.  "It wouldn't be... nice... to have someone mind warped forever."

Heh.  I think I know me!

"Maybe we should push her in again?" suggested Zoe.

Cheerful optimist.  Nope.  Try Gloomy pessimist.  And flowers, eh, they're okay, but I'm not crazy about them.

Took the test again giving different answers on the questions I had two possibles for, and got the same result again.  Nope, sorry, Flying/Bug isn't me.  I'm not a cheerful optimist, and I'm not that keen on flowers.

(Should have been Stacey.  Sorry)   "It... it's not your fault... I... just hoped she'd be nicer."

"Fine!  Be like that," shouted Skye.  "Go on trying to boast about how important you are and see where it gets you."

"Aww, a special Vipey hug!" said Ziona happily.   --------   "Why can't you just be nice?" Stacey shouted after her.
