"I hope it's worth the wait," said Anna.   -----------   Stacey whimpered a little as he dropped the blanket, then picked it up again.   -----------   "We're near the top!" said Ziona

Stacey nervously took the blanket off.

"We can still do it Vipey!" said Ziona.   ----------   "Oh?  You holding out on me?" asked Anna, grinning a little.   ---------   "I guess I should have seen that coming," said Melody.  "I'll give as good as I get."   ---------   "Just a slight overuse of magic," said Miles.  "I'm fine.  It's not bad."   -------------   "I... guess not," said Stacey uncomfortably.  

Morning! Noodles?

"Do not fret!  You are forgiven!" said Melody in a grandiose voice, gving a little wave of her hand.   ---------   "Hmm... if you bonked him on the head that explains the headache I've got!" grinned Miles rubbing his head.   ---------   "D-do... I h-have to?" asked Stacey, still struggling to climb.   ---------   Ziona started to climb happily behind Seviper 

"You'll do great Vipey!" said Ziona.

"Yeah!  Let's do it!" said Stacey.  He started to climb up the tree, but the blanket started getting in the way.   ----------   "C'mon Vipey!  Let's do it!" grinned Ziona.   ---------   "Have you ever known me to get high and mighty?" grinned Melody.   ---------   "I guess so," grinned back Miles.  "I would say I'd never find out in person... but given everything we been through...."

"Thank you Vipey!" said Ziona, sliding off Fenn and hugging Seviper.   ------------   "Sounds like fun," said Stacey.   -----------   "I imagine it must be really difficult," said Melody.   -----------   "Y-yeah.  But I... was happy to help save the city.... I think the old me would be horrified to hear that," said Miles.

"That... could be cool", said Melody.   ----------   "I... almost felt... good... doing it," said Miles hesitantly.   ---------   "No!  Don't hurt the tree!" whined Ziona.

"He's a little small to destroy trees now!" smiled Ziona.

"Okay," said Stacey.   "Let's climb a tree then!" said Zoe.   ----------   "Mmmmm, that was nice," said Anna.   -----------   "Ooooh!" said Ziona, looking up.   -----------   "I guess they like their privacy.  Are these the guys that look to overthrow corrupt regimes?" asked Melody.   ---------   "I know... but... I..." Miles struggled a bit trying to think how to put what he felt into words.

That poor tree!  *sniffles*

"I..er... dunno!" said Stacey

Anna kissed back passionately.   -----------   "O-okay," said Stacey, peaking out of his blanket.

It does have a slight taste of 'trying too hard to be dark, moody and edgy'.

"Really?" asked Stacey.   ---------   Ziona smiled.  "Thank you loyal steed!"   --------   Anna giggled a bit and moved in too.

Anna stood up too, slipping an arm around Spark as she did so.   -----------   "Onward brave steed!" said Ziona to Fenn happily.

Nope.  Fenn!

"Let's go!" said Anna.   ---------   "Sorry," grinned Zoe.   "I don't wanna swim!" whined Stacey.   --------   "Magic tree?  Ooooh!" said Ziona excited.

*starts rolling trashcan around*

"Yeah, almost eerily so," said Melody.   ---------   "Good girl!" smiled Ziona, petting again.   ----------   "Yeah we do," said Zoe.  "So... cheer up or we'll go swimming!"   Stacey gave a whimper.

"Thanks Hope," said Melody stepping into the elevator.   -----------   "Tasty sweets!" added Ziona.  "And anything else you want!"
