"It just does," said Stacey. ---------- The figure smiled, the most of it suddenly collapsed into a puddle of water.  Except for the hand which Sarah took, which began spreading across her.

"Uh... It looks silly with the magic," said Stacey. "Great!" grinned Zoe. ---------- "Give me your hand," said the figure. Skye sighed.  "They asked why I lived in a little house, not a big place like Haven.  I said they'd understand when they were older.  That's all!"

You fell asleep? Don;t you think that's what happened Shimoni?

"I don't want to walk," said Stacey quietly. ------------- "I can easily fix it," said the figure, sounding a little upset.

Stacey shook his head. ------------- "Of course not," said the figure.

Zoe skipped after.  "Coming Fenn?" Stacey just slumped to the floor. ---------- "It was the easiest way!" giggled the figure

Zoe cheered as well. ---------- "You asked what I could do," said the figure.

"Well... uh... let's go then!" said Zoe. ---------- The water figure did let go, but where it touched Sarah her fur started to turn pink, which quickly spread across her whole body.

"i.... I don;t know," Zoe admitted. ------- "I'm more than that," said the figure.  It's hand suddenly shot out to take Sarah by the shoulder.

Zoe smiled. ------------ "You want to wander theses corridors alone forever?" asked the figure.

Zoe giggled with the hugs and nuzzles. ----------- "What? No I wasn't gonna use magic.  I knew you and Ziona would shoot the idea down!" said Skye. "But I want to help," pleaded the water.

Zoe smiled and hugged them both. ------------- "You can't lie to me.  Just yourself," said the figure.

Zoe sniffled, but couldn't help but smile a little and Fenn's enthusiasm. ------------ "Then why do you feel so lonely?" asked the figure. "I have NO idea what's going on," said Skye, starting to get angry.

"I know... but... they said so!" said Zoe. ---------- "Why?  I just want to help," said the figure.

"My mommy and Daddy would still have said no," said Zoe.  "I.... I hope so Fenn." ----------- Skye took a step back.  "Whoa, whoa!  What did I do?" asked Skye shocked. The water figure went over to Sarah.  "Shhh, don;t be scared," it said gently.

"But Mommy is so mad.." said Zoe, hugging Dominic back. ------------ "I'm not sure I can," said Skye, before jumping as Ziona shouted 'THERE YOU ARE!'

"He's gonna regret messing with our kids," said Ziona as she barged into the library. 

"If that little runt isn't in the lab, he's probably breaking our rules and hanging out in the library," said Ziona.

Zoe looked terrified.  She dropped her head.  "I'll be good Mommy," said said quietly. "Good.  Let's go," said Ziona storming out.   ----------- "I'm not being weird," said the water figure, copying Sarah's voice.

"No it's not!" said Zoe "Good idea," said Ziona. She turned to the kids and growled at them.  "Your father and I will be right back.  And if any of you even THINK about using magic, I swear you'll be grounded for so long when you come out you'll need walking sticks."  She was absolutely furious.

"Cause Skye said we'd understand stuff when we grow up," said Zoe.  "Like why Skye and that orange girl wanna be alone in their far too small house!" Ziona's face became a mix of shock and anger.  She looked at Seviper.  "Do you want to kill Skye or will I?" ---------- The water figure began to take a distinct shape, copying Sarah's features perfectly, aside from being made of water. "I... didn't think you were the type to hide," said Skye.

"You shouldn't be messing with magic," said Ziona. ------------- And as if to prove that point.... "Magic messes things up," said Skye as the water lurched forward, part of it spilling into the floor then coalescing into a figure.

"Yes it is," said Ziona. ---------- "Not anymore," said Skye.

"I wanna be older so Skye can tell me stuff but mommy an' Daddy are being means saying I can't do it an' into not fair!" cried Zoe. ------------ "It's alright... I don;t think it wants to hurt us," said Skye.  The water made a motion as if nodding it's head.

"It's not fair! It's not!" said Zoe stamping her foot. "That's no way to behave!" said Ziona to Zoe. ------------ The water stopped raising.  It almost appeared to be looking at the pair.
