There was a smacking sound and an exclamation of 'Ow!' from Skye over the radio before he began speaking. "Agents Jekyll, Sneaky and Creepy. Send us all the pictures and data you can on what you've found. Every little thing could help at this stage."

I can't really see the tails and cream pairing, though I get why others like it. But that is a Darn cute pic of the two of them.

"All that big secure room and its full of boring computers. I was hoping for something more interesting," Melody sulked. "It not my fault you don't find computers fun." "You're weird, you know that," "This coming from the knife-obsessed girl." "Hey, that's important self-defence." "Riiight. Because knowing how to kill someone in a single strike is 'self-defence'."

"Far-fetched Agent Moody? When we're dealing with were-hogs and people who were pulled out of dreams?"

"What do you think is in that room?" asked Melody as she wolfed down a cookie. "It could be the computers. Or maybe a cryo-pod room where their storing all the missing people from Dylan's Zone. Or..." Skye nonchalantly sipped his hot chocolate. "Or maybe both. Could be the DEL are using the kidnapped people's brains AS a super-computer."

"Either their computer room, or thy're keeping someone or something in cold storage," responded Melody as Skye came into the control room with a tray of fresh cookies and two hot chocolates. "That was fast," Melody commented to her brother with a wry look. "Well, I might have cheated a bit. I still had a little magical strength left," Skye explained with a smile as he offered Melody a cookie. (ooc: everybody busy on the weekend. sigh)

“Looking at it now. There’s three large rooms up ahead, though the plans don’t give any interior details. The walls are really thick on these rooms, and there’s a lot off ducts going into that room. Whatever is in there either needs to be kept cool, or produces so much heat it needs to be syphoned off.” (ooc: Actually, to be honest, not that much. While I love coming up with plots, ideas, stories etc, hardly any of them ever see the light of day. I’ve never really done any writing. And I don’t think you need to worry about another Harry Potter. It’s not like I’m writing about a kid with magic powers and parental issue….. Oh Poop.)

Not a bad guess that. But on the other hand, it would be really, really cheep. And would mean that, as Tails has studied Mega Man's systems, It could be replicated easily, therefore making robotiztion pointless for the rest of the comic's run.

Well, my guess for the gloved character is now Thrash, as he's purple and could easily have chains if he's been redesigned. Of course, why would he be on the cover?

Skye gave the controls a light dab with the towel, trying not to press any buttons, then through the towel towards Melody. "Maybe I should hold off the exploration for now. For all I know they might have a chamber of poorly stored doomsday weapons stashed somewhere," moaned Melody as she dried herself. "If you're bored, here, you take over the control console for a bit. "Aren't you doing some data work?" "The computer's doing number crunching right now, nothing for me to do till it's done. So you sit down, and I'll make us some snacks." (ooc: thinking about our parts in the story? That is a very, very dangerous thing for me to do! :P )

He's limited to his phone today Geffy so you might want to hold back on the demands...

"Sorry D... Agent Jekyll. I didn't mean to cause that much trouble." Melody apologised over the radio. "Melody," complained Skye as he retuned with a towel. "Your getting water on the console. I really hope it's splash proof." (ooc: and I'm at work so I guess it will be quite a quiet day)

There was the sound of soggy footsteps behind Skye and he turn to see his sister re-entered the control room dripping wet and looking slightly shocked. “Are you okay?” Skye asked. “This cloaked and helmeted guy chased me all around Haven until I threw the dartboard at him. Then I tried to hide in the library. Skye, why is there a swimming pool in the library?” Skye had no idea how to react. So instead he took a neutral route. “I’ll go and find you a towel.”

The two children turned slowly to look at each other when they heard the echoing cry. “I think you better do what Dad suggests and take it back.” “But I don’t remember where I got it from,” replied Melody in a slightly shaken voice. “Then, erm, run over Haven until you find the room again? Either that or wait for creepy voiced man to find us here?” Melody blinked then sprinted with the dartboard down the corridor. Skye returned to examining the data. A few minutes later, Skye looked up and check the internal monitors for Haven. “Looks like Melody’s enjoying herself,” Skye muttered as on the monitors his sister ducked and weaved through multiple blasts of energy, before slipping and landing with a splash in the indoor swimming pool.

"Uh, Melody. Where did you say you got that dartboard?" "Huh. Oh I dunno. I was just rushing around and spotted it." "Okkkkkay then. Uh, Dad, Melody doesn't know where she got the dartboard. Is it important?"

"Any samples you can get will be brilliant, but be careful if you take them from the guards. Removing the devices could trigger the transformation. But if you could do it with one Legionnaire with cybernetics and watch the results that could be invaluable. I'm running the teleporter data through now. Now I'm certain there's a pattern here. Oh, and don't mind the thunking noises you can hear. Melody's just got herself a dartboard."

“Even if the teleporter's not a cure, it’s a start. Something I can correlate with the rest of the data we have. What about the guards? Do they have anything similar, or are they were-hogs. Oh, and my question about were-hogs and cybernetics still stands” (ooc: I just worry i'm making the whole thing too melodramatic and/or dark)

Skye turned round as his sister shot back into the control room with a dartboard under her arm. “Where did you find that, I thought most stuff in Haven was stolen?” Skye asked. “Oh, well, I had a bit of a wider look around and found… Wait, what’s wrong?” Melody broke off when she saw Skye’s eyes widen, then he wacked himself on the face. “I don’t believe it. I’m an idiot. It was starting me right in the face.” Skye turned back to the radio. “Agent Jekyll, I need all the info on your teleporter. It's already a cure, in part. All other Agents, the guards you’ve been knocking out: Were-hogs or normal Mobians? And if the latter, any unusual devices or artefacts on them?”

Both kid’s looked up as Dylan’s voice came over the radio. “It’s working. You did it Skye. Now, stop looking so concerned and get back to work.” “What are you gonna do?” asked Skye. In response Melody flicked a knife between her fingers. “Find a dartboard. I’ll need to set up a new high score table for our new home." .Skye gave his sister a thumbs up and a smile, and returned to the radio "Agent Jekyll? I think the plan is to reach the lower levels and access the lab's database and upload it to command." (ooc: my previous post, that was originally meant to be a fun little character interaction. I think I’m putting too much emotion into these posts. I’m just glad the kid’s didn’t leave the radio mic on. Though given Haven’s security systems there’s a good chance it was recorded should Locke check the footage.)

“Will you please stop pacing? It’s very distracting, especially at that speed.” “I can’t help it, I hate waiting, and I hate being away from the action more.” “If you’re bored you can find something else to do until they get back. More… I can’t say it, it sounds too ridiculous and melodramatci.” “What Skye?” “No.” “What?” Melody spoke dangerously leaned in close, knife unsheathed. “My… my soul.” “Your right, it does sound silly,” said Melody, breaking into a mocking grin. “Melody, I… I had planed away to rescue you. You were right, that’s why I tried to destroy a Zone. At least, that’s why I started. But by the time I was ready my mind… it had completely gone. I’d forgotten about saving you, I just wanted to destroy. If it wasn’t everyone here I might have succeed. And Locke he… he managed to break through to me. To save me from insanity.” Melody’s mocking smile vanished, and she put a comforting hand on her brother’s shoulder. “I think I understand. You said you’d gone a bit crazy, but I didn’t realise how far. I’d never thought that you’d have forgotten me.”

That top right image has a serious 'I'm gonna kick your ass' vibe to it.

“Agent Jekyll, I’m sending you the software to your teleporter. It’s can either sound like your own voice or robotic, and the former has ‘normal’, ‘happy’, ‘angry’ and ‘sad’ variations. Erm, I haven’t had much time to test it, so there may be some bugs.”
