"I think Father just went a little paranoid, thinking everyone was scheming against him. (Well, except Mother). At least half his plans were to take down Scourge, despite the fact he hadn't been seen in over a decade."

Skye and Melody looked at each other, and Skye shrugged. "I guess Father might have been over-exaggerating his abilities."

Melody sat bolt upright and Skye took a step back at the mention of Scourge. "Oh...." Skye almost swore but caught himself. "One bad thing about the past, he's still at large."

"I wasn't meaning stop him. I meant find a way to kill him so he won't come back again!" "I'll do it." Melody sleepily put her hand in the air, while her head was resting on the table.

(ooc: Not necessarily. Moebius isn't simply a good/evil swap. There are exceptions to that.) "Huh. So this one guy managed all that. Why did no one take him down?"

Skye looked confused. "Whose Mogul? Anyway, kid forever is sounding better than growing up!" Melody happily tucked into her next sandwich. "fanks Dad!" (ooc: In Skye's Zone, if Mogul ever got an Anarchy Beryl, the moment he lost it it would be fatal, given the energy drain the AB causes. :P )

"Hmm, maybe I should look at that immortality plan again," Skye mused under his breath hoping no one heard him. "More... sandwich... please? mumbled Melody from the table.

"With everything you guys have been telling me about getting older, I really hope I stay a kid."

I'm surprised it took you so long to make it this far!

"Huh? That'd be gross? Why would you even think of something like that?" asked Skye, tongue hanging out in disgust. Melody had just processed that someone had been talking to her, and finally got round to sleepily replying '..ello. Pleased... meet you...'.

"Don't you have duty stuff that'll get in the way of sleeping?" Skye asked. Melody was munching on the sandwich, slowly taking in where she was and what was going on. "Mmph, ..orning," she mumbled, her voice obscured by sleep and sandwich. "Hy ar er oo ov mom?"

A few minutes after he left, Skye returned, with a shut eyed Melody following. Skye was holding the plate outstretched while walking backward, and Melody seemed to be homing in on the sandwich, despite he closed eyes. Maneuvering the plate onto the table, Skye slid a chair behind Melody and she sat down, taking a bite out of the sandwich, her eye's opening ever so slightly.

"Huh. Well, wish me luck." And with that Skye left the kitchen. (ooc: and with that i'm off to a wedding. catch you all later)

"You know, with everything I hear about your and Dylan's Zone, I'm beginning to wonder if that is actually the 'evil' zone, rather than mine."

"There are two ways to wake her. The first is to shake her awake, then dodge her super-fast strikes until she's awake enough to realise she isn't being attacked. The second is to lure her out of bed with the sent of food. And there's nothing Melody likes better than a bacon sandwich!"

Chuckling slightly at the photo he'd taken of Rouge's panic attack, Skye entered the kitchen and started fixing up a bacon sandwich. "Ok, time to try and wake Melody," he mumbled, taking the sandwich on a plate with him.

Before going to wake Melody, Skye sneaked back to just outside a kitchen, camera ready to capture the reaction when Rouge met Red.

"Very well, thank's Dad. Breakfast's cooking in the kitchen. I'd just come to see if you or Mom wanted anything."

Skye blushed slightly, partially at the remarks, and partially because he'd made Shadow embarrassed without meaning too. "I.. uh, thank you. Yeah, it was rude of me not to introduce myself. I'll be right back once I've delivered breakfast." A mischievous smile appeared on Skye's face. "I'm sure Mom would love to meet you."

(ooc: Well, I threatened to do it.) "Hi Uncle Shadow," Skye exclaimed happily, "and you must be Rouge. Pleased to meet you. Help yourself to breakfast. I'm gonna take some to Mom and Dad before it gets cold. And..." Skye shuddered, "I might risk trying to wake Melody."

"I woke up, couldn't get back to sleep and was hungry. Help yourself. Hopefully I've cooked enough for everyone." Skye smiled at Crowley, still a little unnerved by the pointy teeth. (ooc: Don't worry Dylan, I'm sure you won't miss anything important till you're back. And Shadow, I can't wait to see what Rouge's reaction will be if Skye calls Shadow 'Uncle Shadow' on front of her!)

Skye reached the kitchen, and quickly began dominating the space. Before long, the recognisable scent of cooked breakfast began wafting over Haven.

Skye yawned heavily, opened his eye's sleepy, closed them a gain, then a second later sat bolt upright at the unfamiliar surroundings. It took a few moments for him to pass through the sleep haze and recall that, now, Haven was indeed his home. Now wide awake, he slipped out of bed and headed for the kitchen. For a moment he paused outside his sister's room, then thought better of disturbing her and continued his hunt for breakfast.

(ooc: I think things has stalled as almost everyone has gone home or to bed. Erm IC I mean. All in favour of making it the next morning?)
