Skye Prower

"Of course I can walk!" Melody indignantly replied. She tried to stand, wobbled for a second, then her legs gave way. Skye managed to pull himself out from the chair, but needed to lean on the furniture to move. Both his ears and tails hung limply. --------------------------- Mina gave a shark like grin, and using her speed began a rapid hit and run offensive against Nega.

"Thank you." Mina gave her wrists a quick rub to get the bloody flowing, then leapt at full speed towards Nega, drawing another knife from her gauntlets. She aimed a blow at Nega's wrist with a follow on strike at his throat. "Sorry, but I've got a Rep to maintain!" (ooc: Even if Nega escapes, he may loose a hand!)

(ooc: Right, I know what Mina is going to do. She just needs Nega to free her and let his guard down for a split second.) "That would be good." said Skye, "I'm having trouble stringing two thoughts together." ------------------------------------------ "Well, if you're against the Zone Cops that means you've got big plans, over several Zones if not all. So I want a Zone for myself. But first, I need that hedgehog alive." Mina smirked. "But not necessarily in one piece."

"Must be it... Can we... can we head back now?" "I think I'm gonna throw up." muttered Skye. ------------------------------ "Oh they won't kill me. They don't think like that. They'd just leave me in the lurch without paying! But what can you offer me? Can you empower people permanently?" (ooc: That's the thing with Moebians, they will just go with whatever gives them the best rewards.)

Mina consider her options, secretly glad he'd shocked her before she used the knife, otherwise the shock would have been worse. She did have a couple of explosives to use, but there was not much chance of getting them far enough away not to catch her in the blast. There was also one of Miles' little trick that would get her out, but would leave her severely weakened. So, for now, play for time. And maybe find out more about what was actually going on here. "Why, are planning on making me a better offer?"

"Wow. I had no idea they were building something like that!" The airship swung round and opened fire on the base. ---------------------------- Mina looked at the cables and smiled. "I wasn't expecting that you'd be into this kinda thing. And those are Zone Cops? Really? I thought they were from the Prime Zone. I guess they didn't want to tell me much in case something like this happened." Behind her back, one of Mina's knives slid out of her gauntlet and into her hand, ready to slice though the cables.

"Ice cream shop? Oh, yes. Of course. How did I forget that?" Melody still clutched at her head. Skye just groaned, resting his head against the cold surface of the table. ------------- Mina carefully walked into the room, scanning with her goggles. She suspected that the figure on the chair was merely a decoy. "Nice place you have here. And they aren't my friends, merely employers." --------------------- There was a ripple in the air and a large air carrier burst into the pocket dimension, its hull painted in Zone Cop colours. It swung sideways and unleaded a broadside on the walking robot. (ooc: if these changes happen, they'll change Skye's memories, and as Melody came from Skye's memories she would change to. Though both kids would be unaware that they'd change. Yay, time travel.)

"Your right Daddy. I'm sure everything is fine. Wait, where am I?" Melody looked around confused. ------------------------------------- Zet smiled. "Ok Zave, send in the cavalry!" ------------------------------ Mina reached the end of the course. "All right, how did I do!" She looked at the leader board, but didn't write her name down.

"Nega's not the only one working on experimental weapons. We've got some of ours out on a 'test run'." Zet grinned. ------------------------------ "Heh. Thank you. I aim to please." Mina grinned and was almost dancing though the course.

"Aww Heck!" Zet pulled out his radio. "Zave, you there? We might need some back up pretty soon. Nega's got some new toys." -------------------------- "Aww, backup systems? Way to spoil my sneaky approach. Oh well, I could use the practice. Hey, hope you've got a timer and leader-board set up for this!" Mina grinned, then shot into the course.

"See if concentrating our fire can crack the field. I'm sure Omega can do some serious damage if it's all fired on the same spot." ----------------------------- "Oh, a big red shiny button. So are you the on switch or booby-trapped?" Rather than hit the switch, Mina tried to cut open the door with her knife, or if that failed, look for some way to bypass the room quickly. If nether plan worked, then something would be thrown to press the button.

"Is that for us or our intrepid assassin?" Zet pondered. --------------------------- With her goggle's Mina could see the swarm of robots clearly. "I don't like robots. I HATE spiders. So combining both just P*ssES ME OFF!" With a cry she leapt acrobatically through the swarm, blade swinging dangerously.

'Thank goodness for the gasmask,' thought Mina, 'or I'd never get the smell of burning me out of my nose. Elevator hmm? Up or Down? Given the ego we're facing, I'm guessing up. Better make this quick. Now, given the lasers firing pattern...' Melody charged full speed into the elevator, moving where she'd noted gaps in the laser's firing pattering, heading along the walls and aiming to cut a hole in the elevator roof an head up the shaft.

"Either that or maybe we will get lucky, and his plots have taken a greater hit than we thought with this war." ------------------------ "Ok. This is definitely a trap." Mina stood outside a large set of doors, which if the layout match the exterior dimensions would be around the centre of the base. "There's 'too easy' and 'too easy'. This little trick of yours better work Miles." Mina pulled out a small amulet, then crushed it. The crushed remains flowed from her hand, forming an excat copy of her. The copy then entered the room. (occ: Well, it would make future Mina a more potent threat with the whole 'return Skye' plot. Hmm, what do you think? Also, as your running Nega it's up to you what Mina runs into I think.)

"This is Nega we're talking about. Automated Tank would be too small for him." ---------------------- Mina sneaked though the corridors, only to find her way blocked by a squad of robots. 'There might not be many robots back home,' Mina thought, as her blade began glowing slightly, 'but I can still turn these into scrap metal.' She rushed through the group. For a few seconds the robots stood motionless, then began to slide apart into several small slices. (ooc: Like I said, I'm not sure about going for it or not.)

"There's only three of us so maybe he doesn't consider us a threat. Or maybe he's already guessed we're a decoy." ----------------- Once inside Mina pulled on a pair of goggles with various vision modes and a gas mask. "Let's see. They always expect intruders to use the vents, so lets not disappoint " She opened a vent, pulled out a glowing clockwork mouse from a pocket, and let it go into the vent. "There. If anyone's scanning the vents, they'll think that's me." (ooc; Well, if the power copy also included a colour change somehow (just brainstorming here) then that change might get passed to her kids, who as they have no time-re-write protection, would be changed in the present.)

Zet ducked down and quickly unpacked and built a folded up sniper rifle. He took up a covered firing position, and started sniping the advancing robots. Mina waited until most of the robots were engaged, then sprinted at full speed to the other side of the fortress. (ooc: Actually the Syphon was built.... erm, will be built... by Skye. Miles is more of a magic user, so I was thinking some sorta magical ritual to copy the powers over. Essentially, same thing but with magic instead of tech. While pondering this at who scenario at work, I did have an idea but not sure about it. If Shadow did go along with the copy powers (or was forced) and if there was some physical alteration when the copy happened, that could solve the 'Melody and Skye look like Mina and Tails' problem.)

Mina gave a nod, ducked out of sight and vanished in the boulder field. "I've got my buddies on the line. If you want backup for this distraction, they're standing by. Just remember, they'rte also our ticket out if things go south." (ooc: Does that mean well have Mina as a recurring villain trying to hunt down Shadow and force him to live up to the deal? :P )

"I... guess your right," murmured Skye. "But I've eaten faster before and nothings happened." Melody tried to stand up, but lost her balance and fell over. --------------------------- "If you want to do that whole 'holding off the army' plan as a distraction, I can run up the walls unseen and sneak in." (ooc: Actually Mina here already has her speed. If Shadow goes through with the payment its either gonna cause a paradox, or Skye and melody are gonna end up 're-written' slightly.)

"We're NOT making a scene Daddy, we're just, aarrgh!" Melody stopped abruptly and clutched her head. "Melody, are you.." Skye began, only to suffer a similar pain in his head. He mirrored his sister in clutching his head, whimpering slightly. After a moment, the pain died down, but didn't vanish completely. (ooc: On the subject of paradoxs, here's a nice wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey headache for the kids, given their past is currently being re-written. Lets hope things don't get any worse.)

"If he'd detected us I'd expect an army heading our way now, so we should still have the advantage of surprise." Mina began stealthy moving closer. (ooc: More malevolent, and I think Dylan you have it backwards, Nega really, really hates Prime. Could be wrong though. Catch you later Shadow.)

(ooc: Ok, erm, first, does anyone know anything about Eggman Nega in order to play him. Second... do we actually want this attempt to succeed?) "Well, I'd guess he's his that rather foreboding fortress over there. At least, that's where intel last puts him. He's gone in, and as far a we're aware he hasn't come out using any method." "I think I may have made my price a little low."

(ooc: heh heh heh. That would be fun to watch. Sorry for kinda writing you out at the moment Dylan.)

Mina smiled at Omega. "I like you!" "Okay, here we go." Zet activated the teleporter and the group vanished, repairing in a pocket zone. The Zone where Nega was based. "Huh. Ok, wasn't expecting this. I had you lot pegged as from the Prime Zone."

"Hold on everyone." Zet said, pulling out his communicator. "I've just got a message from the others. There's a gap in security now if we want to take it."
