    Skye gave Tikal a quick half-hug after her suggestion. "Thank's Tikal, that would be great."

    "Yeah, but that's alright," Melody replied to Hope. "Maybe just program in a pre-set timer so after a certain time it shuts down by itself. Or an alarm clock!"

    "He did manage to bring unity to Moebius, at least for a while. Sure, he went nuts right at the end, but before that, he actually had proper control." Mina ran round a corner, then came to a halt. "Shadow? You're back?"

    Ziona was laughing ecstatically on Glen's back, occasionally calling 'this way' or 'that way'. She'd never appeared as happy and carefree before.

    "Huh, you're right. I never noticed. A bit of a shame actually, I liked that headband!"

    "He tried to be more that what he was and to step out of the shadow of his prime counterpart. What's wrong with that? It's admirable!" Mina argued back.

    "Not without a jetpack," Ziona laughed as she jumped onto Glen's back. "Clear for takeoff!" she yelled.

    "Not terrible," Skye replied as he started following the others. "Just unexpected.... Actually, oh &$%^, it is terrible. Because if this dream can somehow alter our physical appearances, what happens when it turns nasty?"

    "Funny, as you are the same person from different Zones, complimenting one is complimenting the other. Mostly, doubt Scourge would like being given a complement via Sonic somehow."

    Melody started giggling as she started following Shadow. "I won't tell her if you don't!"

    Skye hung back slightly from the rest, slowly realising what Dylan just said. "Are you joking?"

    "I just can't see most people pulling off that look. You're one of the exceptions," Mina complimented Rouge.

    "C'mon Glen. The sun is shining, we're at a party, and soon we're gonna go exploring lotsa different Zones. Don't be such a sourpuss!"

    "I suppose Mom would give you a row for putting ideas in my head," joked Melody.

    "Children's birthday party?" Skye asked with a little surprise. "Huh, I didn't expect their dream would involve having kids...." Skye then started listening to Shadow and Dylans conversation. "I guess that if you aren't actively trying to leave, the dream doesn't stop you. But why are Mom and Mom taking about wings?"

    "Ah, of course. I should'a remembered as you are Mom's zone-sister after all," Melody pondered as Rouge pointed out her ears. "Maybe I could find somewhere else to be a princess of."

    "I guess they must be together like Tikal and I were," suggested Skye, erroneously.

    "Hold on Shadow, I'll find out where we go next," said Skye as he turned on the radio. "Go ahead Dylan," said Skye. "Is there anyone else, or do we pick you up now?"

    Melody gave a slight start as Rouge spoke up. "Yipe! I, uh... didn't think anyone would hear that!"

    "I have no idea. Maybe it's a fashion statement?" Mina joked. "Though I must imagine it must make finding cloths that fit even harder than normal."

    "Well, if you want to goof-off in the sun, it looks like it's stopped raining," said Ziona as she stepped outside. "A perfect day now. Nothing could possibly ruin it."

    "I doubt it," Skye replied to Locke. "As none of this is actually real, it would have no substance in the real world. Otherwise, if it is this Robotnik, he'd be using it to summon armies rather than trapping us."

    "Yeah it was Rouge," said Melody, sighing again. "I miss it, I really do miss it. More than I realised until tonight."

    Skye saw Shadow and Crowley reappear. "Okay, so whose left to find?"

    "Heh heh. Nah, I can't see much use for emotions. I just wanna keep gaining new powers. For instance, unlike you, I can't fly!" Mina shot a wicked grin in Red's direction. "Joking, joking! I don't think wings would suit me!"

    "How can you be laid back at a party?" Ziona asked. "You run, play, dance about at parties!"

    "Not far off actually," Melody replied. "I had a castle too, and I was a princess again for a while." She sighed heavily. "But my castle wasn't nearly as pretty as yours."

    "Good, let me know if you spot anything," replied Skye over the radio.

    "On the subject of spotting stuff, look there," pointed Melody, as she saw a group moving away from the castle. "I think that's them." Melody began sprinting after the group, yelling 'hey, wait' as she went.

    (ooc: Just one post? Seriously, only 1..... :( Right, let's get this show back on the road)

    "Good idea Dad, I wonder who is behind it all?" Melody pondered as the dreamscape warped around them revealing the diamond castle.

    "Aside from Rouge have you located anyone else Dylan?" Skye asked over the radio.

    "I never took you as a master of Chaos energy Red," Mina commented.

    "Yeah, let's have a look!" Ziona replied, scampering towards the hall door.

    Having got the 3DS version some initial thoughts (and I really mean initial, only played the first couple of levels):

    Gameplay is surprisingly good for a 3D world on the DS

    The parkour system is pretty good and makes a lot of sense for sonic to have

    The rotating worlds aren't too bad, but I wouldn't say they are really 'sonic' if that makes sense.

    Not a fan of the overly cartoony look, but that's just a personal opinion.

    Also, FULL VOICED CUT SCENES ON THE DS! WHOOO!

    "So, were are we going Glen?"

    (occ: Yeah, so sorry about this guys. At least for the main group the kids can just be quiet for a while as everyone meets up. Hopefully I'll make it online. See you all at somepoint laters!)

    When Dylan called in Melody answered. "Which one? My castle or Rouge's?" she weakly joked, trying to raise the mood.

    (ooc: This is portably my second to last post till I disappear, so I might want to find a way to write out my characters for a bit.)

    Melody looked at the dream Knuckels. "That's just not playing fair," she commented.

    "It makes sense. If I was gonna design a dream prison, it's the kind of thing I'd be sure to include," said Skye. Melody took Locke by the hand.

    "Dad, it doesn't matter how it seems, but they aren't real. You won't be letting them down at all if you leave."

    "It's good to see you too Dad. But we better get moving and find the others before the dream sets something on us."

    "So where is this monster we're supposed to be distracting? You wouldn't think something that big could hide so easily. Or maybe because were aren't trying to quit right now it's vanished again."

    "On the subject of werehogs," Skye opened his radio. "Dylan? Are you there? We've found Locke. How's the other team doing?"

    "Not my fault if you the same voice for talking normally and sarcasm," Mina retorted. "And your right, practically the whole planet is a mess."

    "What'cha mean Glen? There's all the time in the world!" replied Ziona as she left to find Zave.
