Skye Prower

"I hope so. I hope so," murmured Skye as he leaned against Locke. One of Mina's eyebrow's rose, but she said nothing. --------- "Lets... not go there," muttered Ziona

"Is she.. are both of you..." Skye was shaking slightly. "Good," was all that Mina replied to Shadow, then she turned to Skye, and despite thinking him just a figment, wanted to comfort him. "She gonna be okay, don't worry Skye." -------------- "Heh.." but part of Melody's mind did slip into wondering whether it would be another chance to play princess. ------------- "Wait, do you mean you like me being a kid?"

"Ah. It was all about the ascetics then!" Melody couldn't help but laugh. ---------- "I won't try anything if you don't Shadow. My friend comes first."

Skye ran up to where his mother and adoptive mother were. "Is... is everything all right?" he gasped. He saw Tikal behind him and clasped her hand for comfort. ------------- "Really, heh heh. I'd have thought Skye would have been the less risky choice of the two of us to try and... force adopt or whatever she had in mind. I dunno if I should be flattered or insulted!" ------- Mina looked at Shadow with distrustful eyes. ---------- "Heh, maybe we should get Skye to do one of his colour spells so we can see people blushing easier?"

"I... I dunno, I better check..." Skye turned and run out of the base. ---------- "She had plans..." Mina shivered. "For once I'm really glad I'min the past where she can't find me." (ooc: really melody? bet your life?)

"Heh heh. Depends which mountain. You'd need to choose the right one!" ----------- "Wait... You were hired to kill my family EXCEPT for me... Why not me?" ---------- "I guess.... I guess I'll just try and keep her safe until she wakes then," replied Mina. "She'd do the same for me." --------- "Perhaps," (ooc: That's entirely up to you.)

"If you're sure Dylan," Skye replied. -------------- "Oh I do like Shadow, and I know he's had a hard time. It's just funny that someone from Moebius who's an assassin is nicer than him. And... you weren't hired to kill me? And you kept to yourself even in my brother's brain?" ------------- "I dunno what to do," moaned Mina, "I dunno." ------------ "You're not too old yet! Not as long as you keep up with your silly jokes and mannerisms."

"Yeah, we did Tikal, but everyone else seemed to be busy so it didn't really matter. And if you need any help setting up a complex like this Dylan, just ask. -------------- "Red!" Mina exclaimed, worried. She cradled the unconscious Red in her arms. "Please be okay. I've never seen you have an attack this bad. Not leading to unconsciousness" -------------- "I hate to break it to you, but you already for fill the old category Glen!"

"Thank's Dylan. Wow, this is a great set-up you have here." ------------ "You know, you're a lot more pleasant than your Prime Zone counterpart. But there is one thing I've been wanting to ask you. You and Red were trapped in Skye's head right, and you were together. How come I never encountered you when I was trapped in there too?"

Skye shuffled his feet. "Yeah. Sorry I was so hard on you there..." ------------- "If I didn't know better, I'd say you disliking affection is just an act to make yourself seem more mysterious."

"I, uh, we better see how Dylan is doing," Skye suggested to Tikal as he entered. "Sorry about that, everyone seems a little... 'occupied' outside." ----------- "So it seems. A real man of mystery ain't you!"

"Careful, or you'll loose that ice-cold image of yours!"

"Heh. you must be getting used to them already if you're hugging back!" ----------- Mina glanced up and saw Crowley and melody embracing. "Well, well," she murmured. "I might be in with a chance after all..."

Melody gave a smile and the gave Crowley a hug that, while tight, wasn't at the bone crushing level that the earlier one from Mina had been. "Thanks a million! If there's anything I can do to repay you, please tell me."

"Thank's Crowley. I would hug you, but after that epic one you got from Mom I'd guess you'd prefer I didn't!"

"If you ever do that maybe you could... could..." Melody cast her eyes to her feet. "Maybe you could find some way of rebuilding the bridges between us and Mom. I know Skye and I will be adults by then, but..." Melody shook her head. "I know I shouldn't, but I miss her."

"Well, I dunno if it'd affect me much. Skye on the other hand... Of course, there is the fact that in 30 years or so Mom'll be single so you could try your luck then. I don't think she's was as much of a fangirl then though. But you'd have a better idea as you did meet her. i think..."

"I really should suggest this given the whole timeline thing of paradoxes and not existing," Melody said while still laughing, "but the opportunity is right on front of you!"

"Probably just something to do with this dreamscape," suggested Skye. ----------- Melody burst out laughing. "You know, I'd think you suit a crown!" she joked. ----------- "Red? C'mon, it;s over. You've cleared the air so stop looking so glum." ---------- "I'll let you know when I'm older," Ziona replied.

"I'm... fine now Tikal. It's passed." --------- "Heh, I think Mom might be jealous that you're taking care of me!" Melody joked. ------- "You didn't need to do that Red. You didn't go through with it. If you had tried to I'd understand you keeping your distance, but you had no way of knowing, so it's alright." --------- "Really? What kinda plans?"

"Yeah, it's clearing already. I think..." Skye replied. ------------- "I.. I think so... everything's just spinning a bit though, but it's slowing down." ------------ "I see, I see," said Mina. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." ---------- "Heh, I dunno. I'm not the literary type."

"Sorry, just a little... dizzy, that's all," replied Skye. ----------- "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Are you saying the people behind this job are from the Prime Zone?" Mina asked with surprise. Her eyes darted towards Shadow. ----------- "The story? You make it sound like we're just characters in a story. That's silly nonsense."

"Well, I would say nothing would spoil you, but that would be another compliment now wouldn't?" Skye asked with a smile, then winced slightly as everything became disorientated for a second. -------- "You know, oh... oh no..." Melody wobbled slightly as her head started spinning and she caught onto Crowley for support. -------- "You... you were given a contract to take me out..." If Mina had not already been kneeling, she would have dropped down. "I... I can only thank you that you didn't see it though. I'd have done the same had I been given that kinda job. But who'd have wanted to take out me?" ------- "No idea. Doubt its anything important," said Ziona as she returned to her sandcastle. (ooc: Depending on the next few posts somethings could possibly change, hence the begining of the time headache, but no need to panic yet.)

(ooc: Honestly I'd find a little paradox to be fun, but I can't see how to have a paradox here without it having a massive impact) "Is that a subtle way of telling me to shut up?" asked Skye as a joke. ------------ "I wouldn't know what would happen if they did," muttered Melody. ----------- Mina didn't say anything, but knelt down next to her friend to listen. ---------- "I'll keep that in mind for when I grow up!" joked Ziona

"I really don't think Mom or Dad would let anything slip," Melody said, trying to sound confident but failing to mask her worry. "I mean, it could change every from... from... Skye might never have come to the Prime Zone..."
