Skye jumped up with surprises when Tikal hugged him, then laughed when he realised it was her. "Heh, don't scare me like that. It's good to see you awake again." -------------- Ziona held on tightly onto Glen, bursting into tears. -------------- With a metallic hiss the dome on Eggman's robot slid shut. "Its too late, already the power levels are dropping. Now, why don't we finish this?" Eggman opened fire with every available weapon system.
-
Sorry, no.
-
"No worries Shadow, no worries," said Melody as she slipped away. ------------- Back in the hotel Melody slowly came round. Then turned over and went straight back to sleep, only outside the dream catcher this time. --------------- "Just about," Ziona whispered. "Just about." ------------- "Doctor," reported Orbot over the radio. "It appears several of the Dream Catcher targets are awakening." "What?," Eggman yelled. "Orbot, power down the dream catcher. Scramble the minds of whoever's left in there. Then bring the Master Emerald aboard."
-
"Yeah, I'm ready," said Melody, but she turned to Tikal, "But I think Skye will be waiting for you. I wouldn't keep him waiting!" --------------- Mina didn't say anything either. She just lent into Crowley, trying to make the most of enjoying his company and the view. ------------- Ziona placed her head on the desk, covering it with her hands. Then she heard Glen knocking. "Yeah, you can come in," she replied weakly.
-
"I... I hope so... I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did." Mina could hardly believe what was happening. Her eyes began watering slightly, and she fought to hold back tears. -------------- Ziona woke with a start, shocked by the punch. She frantically hurried out of bed towards the nearest mirror. She looked into it, and sighed as an adult stared back. "I suppose I can't just live in a dream after all," she moaned.
-
Unsure what to do next, Skye went back to the bed and sat of the edge of it. If his mother was in the dream with them, then she could be right outside, and Skye didn't want to take the risk of bumping into her. ------------------- "It sounds like you had a better time than I did. I never got any free time, except to sleep. That was why I eventually... eventually left." As she spoke, her free hand started to tremble slightly. Slightly embarrassed, she griped the balcony rail tightly, hiding the shake.
-
Skye made his way into the bathroom sink, and splashed some water on his face to help him fully wake up. Looking in the mirror he gave a little start of surprises. The headband Tikal's father had given hi, in the dream was still on his head. Curious, Skye ran his finger along it. Little motes of energy sparked off it. "I must have summoned it in my sleep," muttered Skye. "Been a long time since I've done something like that." ------------- "I never really got the chance," said Mina. "Nighttime meant training. And daytime usually study. There wasn't the opportunity to view a beautiful scene."
-
"It can hardly hurt worsuuugh," Skye began to say before he dropped unconscious. --------------- Skye shot bolt upright in bed, looking frantically around the room. Conscious that the pain had gone, he leapt out of bed and looked behind him, given a ecstatic sigh of relief when he saw both tails wagging behind him. He turned back to the bed and the sleeping form of Tikal. Skye gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Wake up soon please," he whispered. --------------- Mina heart began racing when Crowley took her by the hand. "Oh, it is," agreed Mina. "It's such a clear night. You can see forever, and the stars and moon shimmering in the ocean."
-
"Oh yes, I'd like that," replied Mina, giving a little giggle. ------------------ "Shadow, could you wake Skye up next please? He's in too much pain to just leave."
-
Mina gave a start when Crowley appeared, and maybe blushed slightly. "I was looking for Red. That Crow thing said she'd woken up first."
-
"Gah! You don't need to be so cryptic!" yelled Melody as the crow vanished. ------------- "It did Glen, it did," replied Ziona, tears beginning to fill her eyes. "But I still don't want to let go. Just... knock me out before I do something stupid..." ------------- Mina slipped into the main lobby of the penthouse, straining her ears to try and hear if anyone else was awake.
-
He's a neverperson. A shade of someone who was erased from time....
-
Nope. It's an individual from a group.
-
Unfortunately not.
-
No. Okay, clue time. And this is where either I shown to have been rather devious, or I've been breaking the rules by accident.... I do not have an individual name.
-
"Blast, I missed a trick there," thought Mina as she slid unconscious. "Crowley, I think you better go next. You've the best chance of keeping Mom distracted so she doesn't notice me or Skye." She turned to the crow. "Wait, before you go, what did you mean when you said I was 'nothing but a dream'? I'm more than that now, amn't I?" Ziona shook her head at Glen's suggestion. "I... I don't think I want to wake up." ---------------- Mina slowly regained consciousness on the hotel balcony. She picked herself up, steadying herself on the railings. "Wow, what a weird dream," she muttered to herself. "First time I've fallen asleep on the job." She move to the balcony door and slid it open. "Better make up for lost time."
-
If no one get it in 24 hours (from when I posted the clue) I'll put out a hint.
-
I'm surprised no one mentioned her before, discounting Locke's Grandmaster answer. But no.
-
No, sorry.
-
Melody breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness she's alright!" "I'll go next Shadow. I've had enough of this dream world," said Mina
-
"So, um, who do you want to knock you out? Anyone know a sleeper hold?"
-
"Are you sure about this?" asked Melody with concern. "I-I mean, if it doesn't work you might get stuck in a worse dream or something."
-
"Okay then. Knock me out and we'll see of... I... uh... no that won't work..." Melody cast a glance towards Mina, "Ok, erm, knock out someone, and if they walk up, give someone a pinch right here on the arm so we'll feel it in the dream and know you got out."
