"Never before," replied Skye, looking at it, "though I've an idea what it's like. What about you? And what are you makeing of all this Tikal?" he asked, leaning back. Melody waved over to Hope. "Hey, there's space for three right at the front Hope!" she called. -------------- "You might want to duck the moment you get back just in case. But as the out-of-time kids are away maybe it won't be that bad."

"I really can't see you as a hippy," said Skye to Hope with a laugh as he joined the rollercoaster queue. "As for being awkward, it could have been a lot worse. You have no idea the threats she made with the proviso of 'when I've got more control of my magic'." Skye shuddered slightly. "But I don't think she's going to cast you aside. You're the first friend she made, and I doubt she'd leave you behind." ----------------- Zet smirked. "Okay Shadow, I think I'm ready to head back now. Good luck Zet." "Thanks Ziona," Zet replied.

(ooc: Also, where is Tikal? Did she join the rest of the kids at the park?) "Actually, that would make sense. Apparently, when I was born, uh, because of my,er, name, Melody though she had a little sister. It was over a week before she found out. Apparently she was devastated." Melody had joined the queue with Anna, Melody jabbering away excitedly while Anna smiled at her. ----------- Zet and Ziona spent some time talking away, until Ziona got up to go. "One thing before you go Ziona, what's wrong?" "Wrong? What do you mean?" asked Ziona confused. "You've haven't said anything flirtatious to me once while we were taking. Something's up!" Zet said. Ziona laughed. "Oh, that. Yeah, I may actually have a boyfriend now." "You? You with an actual boyfriend?" Zet asked cheekily. "It could happen!" replied Ziona, mock offended. "There's going to be a lot of raw recruits who are going to miss the initiation ritual of been the target of your affections." "Oh c'mon, I wasn't that bad."

"I'll go for that," said Skye. "Great, and there a rollercoaster up first!" Melody grinned. "Let's go!" she grabbed Anna by the hand and ran to the turnstile. "I'd swear she'd must have had an espresso this morning or something," said Skye to Hope. "I've never seen her this hyper before." -------------- Zet stared at Shadow. "You're kidding, right?" he asked with disbelief. "He's not kidding Zet. As messed up as it sounds," said Ziona as she walked back up to the bed. "HQ says they'll pick you up tomorrow morning." She handed Shadow a datapad. "There the official info for your boss regarding the pick-up there."

"Arcade?" asked Skye, his ears pricked. "It'd like to try something else first. Maybe one of those roller-coasters," said Melody. "We can go to the arcade later... In fact..." Melody stood on tiptoe and looked forward. "The arcade is that way, next to the restaurants. How about we try every ride on the way, have lunch, then arcade?" "I... dunno about the arcade... Computers aren't really my thing," said Anna, casting a downward look. "Don't worry, there's some games in there I know you'll love. How's your dancing?" ---------------- "Don't apologise Shadow. If we got rid of Nega, I'll happily except being thrown off the force for it. By the way, did you ever catch the @&%$£ that put me in here?" ---------------- For the moment, Miles decided to keep his distance. He had no idea what the people with Mina were capable of, so it was best to play safe. Hopefully she'd separate from the others at somepoint.

Anna made her order and began eating, savoring every mouthful. She said something, but the waffle in her mouth distorted the words. "What was that?" asked Melody, as Skye came over and ordered his own. Anna swallowed. "Sorry. I said... well.. I just said these are delicious." Melody laughed. "Yeah, they really are Anna. Okay, where to next?" she asked as she took another bite. --------- "That'll be my job to say it Shadow. Ziona should try and stay in the clear as much as she can." "Thanks Zet," said Ziona "It wouldn't be right to drag you in at that stage," said Zet. Ziona nodded gratefully and walked to the other end of the medical bay, then switched on her radio. ------------- Miles mouth dropped open when he caught sight of a two-tailed fox joining the two mongooses. It wasn't Tails, he was certain of that, and yet... Miles tried to work out what could be going on. Maybe this new mongoose and fox were him and Mina from yet another Zone. And from the looks of things, that human girl seemed to be part of the little group.

Anna began heading towards the waffle stand, then turned back to face Skye. "Skye... Do you... do you think I can manage this? Put everything behind me... lead a normal life?" Skye looked around, then looked Anna straight in the eyes. "Anna, before Locke... rescued me, I came within seconds of wiping this Zone from existence. And even besides that, I've too much blood on my hands. Do I feel guilty? Yes, oh hell yes. But I'm managing to fit in here, to make a life, and atone for what I did. As long as you want this, you'll be able to do it." Skye was a little surprised at himself for opening up that much, but Anna seemed reassured. "Hey, Anna, Skye! C'mon! Waffle time!" called Melody as she started tucking into her breakfast. Anna once more headed towards the stand. Skye remained where he was, thinking. ------------- "What about Zave? Is she?" asked Zet. "She's at the 'assisting with inquires' stage," explained Ziona. Zet gulped. "I have to get back," "Zet, your badly hurt, and you can't..." "Zave is in trouble, and the longer I'm a no-show, the worse it will be." Zet sighed. "Call it in Ziona, you know you have to." ------------- Miles made his way through the crowds, no one seeming to notice him. The spell he'd cast wasn't actual indivisibility, it just meant people wouldn't notice him, unless he did something out of the ordinary, like fly. And, of course, those who knew him had a chance to see through it even if he was standing stock still, so Miles still needed to be careful. He closed his eyes briefly to concentrated on the tracking spell. As Mina had left him her bracers, it had been easy to use them as the focus of a spell to track her down. Though, Miles was concerned at how quickly the bond between Mina and the bracers had weakened, considering how much a part of her they'd been. She was close now, Miles was certain. Then he caught a glimpse of her. Moving carefully through the crowd, he was a little surprised to see that Mina's hair had returned to its normal colour. Then she turned, and to Miles' surprise, he saw it wasn't Mina, but another almost identical girl.... hell, he'd almost go as far as to say sister, except he knew Mina didn't have a sister, and if she did she wouldn't have the same black fur. Mina then appeared, walking over to the other black furred mongoose. The two seemed to know each other. "Okay Anna, what do you want?" he heard the other girl say, and when Mina responded, he realised just who 'Anna' was. "I.. I don't believe it..." Miles exclaimed quietly. "They've re-written your whole personality. I never though Prime Zoners would stoop to that kind of thing. Are you still in there Mina?"

"Good idea Hope. Right, everyone, keep your eyes peeled for..." "Over there," called Skye, pointing. "Brilliant! I'm famished!," said Melody with a grin, running just a little too fast to be natural towards the waffle stand. Anna held back, still looking around. "So many people.... here together but... smiling and having fun..." She jumped a little as Skye placed a hand on her shoulder. "Sorry. You okay?" he asked. Anna turned and Skye was surprised to see she was smiling. "Yeah Skye. I'm... I'm really looking forward to this." -------------- "I see your sense of humor's returned, you must be getting better," commented Ziona as she walked over to Zet bed. "Hmph. So why did you take so long? Not like you to do so." "You know the reason Zet. I'm sorry." "Bosses want to haul my ass in, eh?" he asked. Ziona nodded.

Given the hotel was right next to the park it didn't take them long to reach it. Anna looked around in amazement, though seemed a little ill at ease in the crowd. "Okay, waffles first, then what do we do?" asked Melody to the rest. "I... I don't know," said Anna, still gazing around, "I've never..." she trailed off. "Ditto!" said Skye. ------------- "Thanks Shadow," said Ziona as she heading into the medical bay. Zet was sitting up in bed, and turned to face her as he heard the door open. "You do know the kid we came to arrest came to see me before you did?" Zet joked.

"Well come on then everyone, lets not hang around!" called Melody. "Can we at least have breakfast first?" asked Skye. "We can get breakfast there. I'm thinking we find a waffle stand. C'mon!" Melody headed for the door, still pulling Anna by the hand, whose face had lit up at the mention of 'waffles'. Ziona headed over to Shadow. "Would either you or Crowley be able to take me to see Zet?" she asked

"From here to the UF? I think I'll take the teleporters!" laughed Ziona. "The rest of you don't might if I join later do you?" she asked. "Not at all," replied Melody. Anna shook her head. Skye, meanwhile, was looking a bit concerned. Not only was there the weirdness of his new sister, but his 'guard' was going to be joining later. And, as he'd just realised, he was the only boy in a quite large group of girls.

Ziona looked over at Anna, who was rubbing her wrists as if uncomfortable about them. "Yeah, you might be right. I'm afraid there's something I need to do first, at GUN HQ actually, but once I'm done there I'll join you. I think I might need some cheering up. Is that okay?"

"Worried? You think she's just faking?" whispered back Ziona.

"Wellll... I'm not sure, but it's best if I don't go." Ziona knelt down and whispered to Hope. "Unless you want someone to escape with if the time displaced sisters start getting a little too weird."

"Thanks for the offer Hope, but I've got a head in height and at least 3 years on the lot of you. I can't really call myself a 'kid' anymore. Besides, I think I'd just get in the way."

"Nothing's really wrong Hope," replied Ziona. "I'm just a little jealous of you lot. But go on, have a great time."

Skye nodded at Shadow. "Well, I guess I've now way out of this," he muttered too himself as he stood up and walked over to the group. His eyes glanced over Anna's arms, wondering what Locke had been on about,. Then he saw. 'Holy &*@£!,' he thought to himself, 'I can see her wrists!' Ziona looked wistfully at the group.

"As long as Anna doesn't find out, it should be fine," said Skye. ------------------- "I... don't really know how to use a gun, so..." said Anna. "Oh, don't worry about that," said Melody, taking Anna by the hand and heading into the main lounge. "Kid's trip to the amusement park! Who's coming?" she called out.

"Dad, don't even both trying to find anything good about Fa... Miles. If there was anything good in him, he'd have strangled it with his own tails before he could even walk." Skye took a deep breath. "Dylan, I don't want to do anything to him, because I'm scared of what might happen if I got that opportunity." ------------- "What do you say? Ready for a fun day out, leading a normal life?" asked Melody. Anna suddenly gave a broad smile, and nodded enthusiastically at her sister. "Great. Truth be told, I wonder what one of those would be like too!" said Melody with a laugh. "I haven't had a 'normal' 24 hours yet!"

"I... I didn't antagonize her Dad," said Skye. "And neither did Melody." He turned to Shadow and Dylan. "Maybe I should leave him to you too. The idea of what I want to do to him... it actually scares me." ------ Ziona heard what Glen said. She smiled appreciatively, the jabed her thumb in Hope's direction and made a gagging motion, before bursting into laughter. -------- "A home. And a family," said Anna, beginning to realise just how lucky she was. "And a life," added Melody. "A life?" Anna asked, slightly confused. "Yep," Melody replied. "I mean, have you ever just let go and enjoy yourself, without work, or training, or stuff?" "Not for a long time," admitted Anna. "Well, that's changing from today. You've a lot of catching up to do."

"If she does I'll snap his rotten neck," hissed Skye under his breath.

"It's not terrible, just.... just so, so strange," Skye replied to Locke. "And Anna, well she..." Skye paused in his reply to Dylan. "She's gone all soft and shy. It's like she's a completely different person." ------------ "Home?" Anna let out a little laugh. "I haven't had a home in so long."

"Yeah... so my mother is now my big sister! Oh, and she's called 'Anna' now."

"I, uh, can't think of a way to describe it that doesn't sound creepy and weird, but well, Mina saw Melody and I in Haven and seeing an image of the future kinda... broke her. Then Melody suggested..." Skye shook his head.

"Uh, I have another sister," said Skye to Dylan with a sigh. -------------- Anna looked unsure, and turned to Melody with a questioning look. Melody gave a reassuring smile and nodded. "Okay. I'll... I'll try and trust you."
