"Aww, thanks Glen," said Ziona, giving him another 'thank you' kiss on the neck. "And I would hope so!"

"We should try and keep moving," said Skye quietly. "Are... are you... sure?" asked Anna. "He's p-probably right Sis," replied Melody. But none of the three kids actually made any attempt to stand. ----------------- "Me? Distinguished?" Ziona burst out laughing.

The Moebians heard the door slam shut, but the lights were dimming so it was hard to see. Then something loomed out of the darkness towards them. There were three screams, though Skye's was somewhat after the others, and was actually comprehensible as 'My Ears!'. The three huddled together on the floor. ---------------- "Lady? That makes me sound like some grand old dame!"

Unlike Hope, the three Moebians seemed to have forgotten it was fake. "I'm... I'm scared Melody." "Me too Sis, w-we'll find a way out of h-here." "I can't see Tikal and Hope," said Skye, also starting to sound frightened. "They were right there." ------------- "I'll have to remember that," said Ziona, giving him another kiss on the neck. "We'll call that one a bonus."

"Uh, S-skye, you can stop with the whispering illusions now." "That's not me Melo... wait, did you just stammer?" "No I d-didn't," said Melody, as she and Anna huddled closer into Skye. "Ow, mind the tails," Skye muttered. ----- "Hey, don't tell me to shut up," said Ziona, but she did as Glen asked. "I think that's my fair covered. Do a good job and we'll see about a tip."

"There's... there's something out there..." -------------- "Good. Any other answer and I might have needed to kick you in the ribs!"

"Did you hear that?" asked Skye. "Hear what?" asked Anna, with rsing fear. "Is someone wanting to turn back?" teased Melody. "N-no!" Anna tried to sound defiant. ---------- "As long as you can cope with me being bigger!"

"This... this isn't so bad," said Anna, looking around but still nervous. "They're just lulling us into a false sense of security before the big scare comes! Whooooo!" teased Melody. Anna responded by gripping tighter on Melody's and Skye's hands and pulling them closer. --------------- "This seems familiar somehow," joked Ziona, "only you're a lot smaller now!"

The three kids entered. Anna in the middle, immediately grabbing the hands of the other two. --------------- "It saves me walking, so I might just do that!" said Ziona

Skye smiled and nodded, hoping that she and Hope would get along well. Though he did feel disappointed not to have her next to him. "I suppose you're right Hope, but it doesn't seem quite fair. We'll try and keep the lot of us rotating for each ride shall we?" Melody suggested, heading over to Skye and Anna. -------------- "Oh, am I embarrassing you?" asked Ziona with a grin.

Melody caught up with Hope before the others did. "Sorry, I guess I'm excluding you a bit. I didn't mean to."

"It's not Hope's fault Tikal. She didn't mean to be mean," said Skye. "You... you get scared?" asked Anna. Melody grimaced, then, after a moment, decided to open up a little to Anna "All the time," she confessed. Anna seemed shocked. "I thought... you act..." "That's it, just an act," replied Melody, rather awkwardly given she was baring her soul on front of everyone. "Enough talking, let's go." Anna nodded, slightly comforted by the fact Melody was also scared. It helped her feel more connected. ------------ "Oh, I'm not gonna be scared by that Glen. Beside, looking at those safety bars, I don't think I can hold onto you during that ride." She then leapt onto Glens back and wrapped her arms round his front. "So I'll do it now instead!"

"Just don't pull my tails if you do that," said Skye with a smile. "Oh no, you're going to be the one who screams first. i know it!" Melody replied to Hope, but she was actually hurt by Hope tease, remembering what had happened to Skye in the dream because she got scared. -------------- "Heh, I'll do my best Glen," she said as they joined the queue.

"I'll be there is it gets too much," said Skye as they walked in. "You can close your eyes and I can cover your ears, like you did on the coaster." ------------- "Don't worry about that, I haven't had breakfast yet. Beside, I can always cheat and switch this off," said Ziona, waving her bracelet on from of Glen. "Then I'd be going sideways, not up and down."

"You wanting to go in?" Skye asked Tikal? "Oh, I will, don't worry," said Anna, standing perhaps a little too close to Hope and Melody. ----------- "What about this one," asked Ziona, pointing at a ride that made the children's earlier rollercoaster look like a gentle, slow trip.

"Yes, come on everyone, lets go!" said Melody. Skye nodded, but walked back over to Tikal. Anna walked up to Melody and Hope. "Sorry for... going funny there... I'll try not to do it again... Is this the ride?" she asked. ------------- "Wrong dream Glen," said Ziona with a smile, "but nevermind, lets go"

Melody saw Hope was back, and gave her a look that clearly said 'sorry'. Skye couldn't help it. He burst out laughing. "Wha-What?" "I'm sorry Anna, but I think that's exactly what I said when I was confronted with that idea of 'being good' a few days ago," Skye explained. Anna managed to smile, then gave a few giggles. ---------------- "I haven't been to one since I was dream height," joked Ziona. "So how about one of those rides that I'd have been too small for at the time."

(ooc: Sorry Tikal!) "I did... what I had to do..." continued Anna, "but that I enjoyed hurting him... that I was gleeful at making him helpless... that makes me feel ill now." Melody was about to hug Anna, but to her surprise Skye did so first. "And that proves that you can be a good person," he said. "Me? Good?" Anna sounded like the idea hadn't crossed her mind. ----------------- Reaching Glen, Ziona took him by the arm. "So, have you decided what we're gonna do first?"

"You don't feel guilty about what you did to Zet?" Skye asked, also slightly shocked. "He... he was trying to kill me..." replied Anna, again frantically rubbing her hands together. "I did... what I had to do... to stay alive..." --------------- "You as well," replied Ziona. "But I've taken up too much of your time. Best of luck deal with the wyrd sisters and their brother." Ziona began heading back to Glen.

(ooc: Up to you, but Ziona should be back in a post or two.) "What about you Anna," asked Melody. "Why don't you like her?" "Not her... her partner..." replied Anna, looking away. Melody made a silent 'O' with her mouth. "It's okay Anna. We've all done bad things we feel guilty about." "I... don't feel guilty though..." replied Anna. "...should I?" she asked. "You... don't...?" Melody was a little shocked. "Not... about what I did.... but I do... feel guilty that I enjoyed it..." -------- "It would be nice to think she is. As for me, I'm gonna have some fun at the park myself. Glen's with me for company, but don't worry, if you call I won't bring him."

"As far as jailers go, she could be a LOT worse," pointed out Melody. Skye conceded the point with a shrug. "Maybe she's just trying to make friends, as strange as that sounds," suggested Ziona. "And its not a problem. Even if you just want a quick chat, just hit the button."

Melody had been smiling as well, though it faded slightly when she turned back to Skye and Anna. "What's wrong?" she asked. Anna said nothing. "Well, she is kinda my jailor," said Skye. "A good interest or a bad interest?" Ziona asked Hope. "Either way, I don't think Skye or Anna want me around, but..." Ziona pulled a small device out of her pocket. "A teleport homer. If you want to get away quickly, or something happens, just switch it on, I'll get an alert and teleport straight to you, ok?"

"Good idea," said Melody smiling at Hope. She turned to Anna, who also managed to smile back. The smile wavered and vanished when she saw Ziona. Skye turned to see where Anna was looking, and inwardly groaned. As she approached Hope, Ziona caught the expressions on Anna and Skye's faces. "So, how are you coping with the freaky family?" she asked Hope quietly.

"Its possible Tikal," agreed Skye. "It can just sometimes be hard to reach it." "I k-know, but... I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place." Anna was wringing her hands together. "Stop this! Time for happier topics," said Melody in a loud voice, and grabbing Anna's hands to hold them still. "We're at an amusement park, so now more talk of war or fighting or anything bad, right?" ---------------- "That was easier than I thought. If you wait here I'll be back in a moment." Ziona started walking forward, calling Hope's name.

Seeing Tikal upset, Skye immediately gave her a tight hug, whispering 'It's okay' to her. "Sorry Tikal," said Melody, "I didn't mean anything." "It's... its my fault..." said Anna, looking at her feet. "I shouldn't have brought up the subject. I'm sorry." ---------------- "I was actually thinking that given there's two geeks in the group, and from what Melody was saying yesterday, that'd they'd be heading to the arcade," said Ziona studying a map. "But the haunted house is on the way there, so..."
