Skye Prower

"Open Darn you! Open!" Melody screamed as she hammered on the door. Outside, Anna and Skye heard her call out and ran to the door. "Melody, can you here us?" shouted Skye and Anna tried to open the door from the outside. -------------- Ziona gave Glen a kiss on the neck, slid off his back, and stood on front of him. "Don't worry. Hope isn't here to make a face. You can say it," she said, smiling.

"Oh, a v-vent! It's a-always a..." Melody's words also cut off for the same reason. "H-Hope? have you also g-got the magic f-flying furniture?" asked Melody as she frantically tried the door handle. ---------------- Skye saw Tikal's smile and returned it. "Thanks little brother," said Anna, tussling Skye's hair. "Hey, stop that," said Skye in an actually-not-bothered voice, as he playfully tried to push Anna's hand away. "Where's Melody?" asked Anna. "She went to find Hope," Skye explained. "Lets go and find them." ------------- Ziona was blushing too hard to respond.

"Maybe hidden behind t-the f-furniture?" suggested Melody as she started searching her own room, not noticing some of the aforementioned furniture moving on it's own. -------------- Skye was about to say he'd be waiting for her AND Tikal, but knew that wasn't what Anna needed to hear. "Anna, I would never knowingly leave you behind. And if I did, I'd find a way back." Anna gave a happy tear filled smile. ------------- "Me? Blushing? N-no!" lied Ziona

Melody laughed at Hope's remark, albeit with a hysterical edge. --------------- "You really.... must have got lucky then," said Anna, as the lift doors opened again. "SKYE! You waited for me!" Anna rushed forwards and hugged the fox. -------------- Ziona couldn't help giggling, enjoying being given a piggy back ride again.

"Yeah, it did," shouted back Melody. "You feeling like you walked into a freezer too?" -------------- "Really," said Anna, smiling at Tikal's giggles. "Skye doesn't seem like a 'love at first sight' kinda boy." ------------- "Let's go thata way then," said Ziona.

"Hey, w-who turned out the lights?" yelled Melody, as the temperature also started dropping in her room. --------------------- "Actually, I... I find it quite sweet," replied Anna. "But I'll still tease... my... my brother... about it. You must have known each other a while then." --------------------- "Sounds good" said Ziona, hopping onto Glen's back. "Your turn to choose."

"Hold on," called Melody. "I'll see if this room has an adjoining door." Melody rushed into the next room before Hope could respond. There was no adjoining door, and the one to the corridor slammed shut. "Oh g-great!" ------------------ Anna went into the lift. "There's... there's only a button up. That's why the didn't come back." She turned to Tikal as she press the button. "So, uh... You... you and Skye seem very... very close." ----------------- "I guess we'll just have to find out, won't we!"

"Shall we... shall we try and find the others?" suggested Anna. ---------------- "At least you're used to danger."

It has been trumpeted around for a while now.

Anna smiled, stood up, then held tightly onto Tikal. "Thank you," she whispered. ------------------- "Which is even more dangerous!" she grinned.

Um, weren't the old days what led to RPM 1 and 2?

(ooc: not... all that much actually. Stuff is pretty much where you left it, despite the high numbers of posts) Melody ran along the corridor, calling out for Hope. -------------- "You.... you can help me?" asked Anna, looking up at Tikal with pleading eyes. ------------ "At least here you don't need to worry about enemy fire."

The lift doors opened and Skye and Melody found themselves in the corridor with several doors. "Where is she?" Melody wondered. "I dunno, but you really shouldn't have jumped ahead like that," said Skye, both to Melody and himself. "You go find Hope, I'll wait by the lift for Hope and Tikal." ------------------ "Melody... and... Skye... went... into... the lift... They left us... They left me..." Anna backed herself into a corner, sliding down the wall and tucking her knees into her chest. "They left me.... They left me..." ----------------- "You don't like those rides? Why didn't you say?" asked Ziona.

Melody? Anna? What?" "You did that mirror trick Skye, didn't you? Payback, that's all," Melody explained. Skye groaned and looked around. "Where's Hope?" asked Skye "She went... on... ahead..." Melody suddenly looked panicked, rushed into the lift and hit the button. "Melody, wait!." Skye jumped in after her but Anna, helping up Tikal, was left behind as they slid shut.

The four children ended up on a heap on the floor. "Gotya!" said Melody with a grin. "Tikal! I'm... I'm so sorry. Let me help you up," said Anna. "Are you okay Tikal?" asked Skye. ------------- Ziona went back to enjoying the rest of the ride.

Melody and Anna also heard Skye's laughed. After Hope entered the lift, they turned and grinned at each other. Skye turned the corner, finding an empty corridor and the lift. "I guess they went in there," he said as he pressed the button. At that moment Melody and Anna dropped on him from where they'd been hiding against the ceilding. This time Skye gave a genuine scream. ------------- Ziona smiled, then laughed.

Melody and Anna gave another scream, then ran after Hope. Skye burst out laughing. "That's what they get for calling me 'girly'!" -------------- "Your fun?"

"Let's hope the guests haven't been left behind," said Melody as she looked in the mirror as well, Anna standing behind her. "Wait, whats that?" Something else seemed to take shape in the mirror, then began reaching out of the mirror towards the girls. Skye did his best to hide his snicker as his illusion grew out of the mirror. ------------- "Yes it was!" called Ziona.

Skye was also quiet as he followed Hope through the hole. "So where are we heading to now?" asked Melody as she crawled through, Anna, giggling again, following behind. ----------------- "Because. I. Asked. Nicely!" Ziona shouted of the rush of air.

"Caring isn't girly," said Melody. "But the way Skye goes about it is," continued Anna. Though neither girls had a teasing tone this time, they were stating matter-of-fact. ------------------- "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

"I know," replied Skye, managing to smile. "I'm just a little bit touchy about that, given my somewhat girly name." "And the way you act," interrupted Melody. "Hey, I don't ACT girly!" protested Skye. "Not even with your 'wuvly wittle angel'?" joked Anna, causing Skye to blush. "I'm.. I'm not that bad..." ------------- "Hmm, what herb would go best with an Echidna I wonder," pondered Ziona as the safely harnesses of the ride snapped shut.

"It doesn't matter Tikal. Right Anna?" said Melody as she followed Hope to the gap. "Yes, I'm... sorry. It wasn't your fault. I'll need to... get used to it," "I am NOT a girl," Skye muttered to himself, still stinging from Hope's remark. ----------- "Unless I start covering you with sage I don't think you need to worry about being eaten."

"There you are," exclaimed Skye happily. "Hey... wait..." he responded to Hope's 'ladies'. Melody giggled and took Hope's hand. "That's not... I'm not..." said Anna, when she heard 'Mina' mentioned. "It's fine Sis, it's fine," said Melody. "A name can't hurt you." -------------- "Eat you whole? I wouldn't do that... far to fattening a meal," she joked.

"Was that Hope?" asked Melody, as all three stopped moving when they heard voices. "I think it was, it sounded like her. I would be more sure if my ears weren't still ringing." ---------------- "I must have a trustworthy face then. Oh, here we go, front of the queue!"

In the darkness Skye heard crying. "Shh, don't cry, we're still here," he said, wiping the tears off his sisters face. "Thanks... thanks Skye," replied Anna. Skye blinked in surprise. In the darkness he thought she was Melody. "What s-should we do?" asked Melody. "We could go back," suggested Skye. "No... we... keep going.. together," said Anna. Skye and Melody looked at each other, then Anna. They nodded, and the three stood up, but still clinging to each other. "I think I h-hear something coming," warned Melody quietly. ------------- "Aww, c'mon. Its not that hard is it?"
