Skye Prower

"Don't thank me until we're safe," said Melody as she sprinted down the corridors. "I don't remember this ride being so big from the outside!"

One of the ceiling grills came clattering to the floor. "Everybody RUN!" yelled Melody as she grabbed Hope. Anna followed behind while Skye grabbed Tikal. ------------------ "A crane maybe?" suggested Ziona. "We might need a trolley to take it back with us!"

"Oooh! That one. The big raccoon!"

"On... On second thoughts lets keep moving for now!" said Skye, looking up where Hope was staring. ---------------- "Oh yes Glenny, please!"

"One way to find out," replied Skye heading over to a broken console. "Help me get the cover off this. If its a mock up, there won't be anything more than lights behind it." The fact Hope could be joking seemed to have slipped his mind. ----------------------- "Hmmm, I'm looking at all these competitions where you can win those oversized cuddly-toys..."

Melody and Anna clung even tighter to each other after Hope's joke. "I remember you saying that. I hope your friend isn't too lonely now you're out here," said Skye. "Wait.... what did you say Hope?" he asked, holding Tikal protectively. ---------------- "Hehe. Okay then, lets keep moving. That way!" said Ziona.

"Twinkle Park?" asked Skye curiously ------------------ "Have a got you worried now?" asked Ziona

"It's okay Tikal. Just noises. lights and models made to scare us," said Skye, though he didn't sound completely convinced. "They wouldn't have something actually dangerous as a fairground attraction, right?" half pointed out, half asked Melody. Anna just started clinging to her sister. -------------------- "Hmmmm, maybe later," Ziona teased.

"I can here something," said Skye as his ears pricked up. "Make that several things," he added, looking back at the hole in the floor. ----------------- "But that would spoil the surprise, wouldn't it?" said Ziona.

A bit further on there was something else, a hole in the floor, the edges of which appeared to have melted. "That's probably not good," said Melody, semi-sarcastically, semi-scared. ---------------- "I can guarantee that'll be a different type of trouble than what you used to walk into."

"Yeah, good idea," said Skye, starting to blush.

"Well someone needs to lead you Glen, otherwise you just keep walking into trouble!"

"Uh, of course. I knew that," replied Skye, ears twitching. Both girls shuffled their feet looking slightly embarrassed.

"Huh boy," muttered Skye looking at the chairs. "Looks like whatever is out there has rather nasty claws. Maybe we can get these consoles working and look for a camera feed?" ----------------- "Heh. I'm standing on the ground right now. But if you want be back on your back!"

"Don't worry, I'll carry you when we run Hope," replied Melody ----------- "That's for the future, back to the present. Seen a ride you like the look of yet?"

Melody and Anna grinned at each other. "Running you say?" "I think we can handle that!" Skye took ahold of Tikal's hand. -------------- "True, maybe I should see about a visitors permit for No-Zone. I've seen your old home after all."

(ooc: sc-fi eh? Bring on the xenomorphs!) Skye walked up the the nearest wall and tapped it, resulting in a metal sound. "I've been on a few space stations in my time. Aside from the gravity, this looks like one." "You... You've been in space?" asked Anna slightly awestruck. "Yup, me and Skye both have. What about you Hope?" (ooc: Shadow, Hope has spent time in space, though mostly in a cryopod pre to her intro into the comic.)

"I know. I never got a chance to ask the door what it was playing at." (ooc: what horror setting haven't we used? Everything that springs to mind is outdoors) ------------- "You better hope I don't get recalled then, unless you like having a crick in your neck from everything being sideways."

"Or Dylan for that matter," pondered Ziona. "Maybe because you're not minors? Or you haven't officially called this Zone your new home."

"Had an argument with a door," Melody replied, matching Hope's grin. -------------- "Yeah, I can't see why it's that important. It's just the stuff officially re-locating Mina, or Anna or whatever she calls herself."

"I can hear you. Hold on, we're coming," called back Melody, and soon the kids were in the next area. "There you are." ------------ "Oh I don't believe it," exclaimed Ziona as the screen on her communicator changed. "Paperwork. Darn paperwork! Why they sent it over the emergency channel I've no idea."

"Hope? You're not to far ahead of us are you?" called out Melody. Skye looked back to make sure Tikal was following, and smiled at her. ----------------- "This is such a wonder mome..." Ziona was interrupted by a shrill beeping coming from one of her pockets. "Oh for the love of..." she muttered, pulling out her communicator.

Melody started crawling through the vent, followed by Anna and Skye. ------------------ When their kiss finally ended, Ziona wasn't sure what to say, so merely said "Thank you."

The three kids stared at Tikal, then slowly started laughing, breaking the tension. "So this place is haunted by the ghosts of a removal company," added Skye redundantly. "How do... we get out?" asked Anna "Hope said something about a vent. I see one over there," replied Melody as she headed towards it, dodging the furniture. ---------- A few tears of happiness formed in Ziona's eyes at Glen's words. "I love you too Glen," she whispered back.

The door suddenly gave way, and all three Moebians ended up on a heap on the floor. Anna took a sharp intake of breath when she saw the floating furniture. "Sk-Skye?" "Not me Anna, not me!" -------------- "I know Glen," said Ziona, leaning into him. "But I'd still like to hear you say it."
